Saw them at INDIANA STATE FAIR 8 12 2015!!! They are GREAT!!! Want to thank them for performing!!! I am almost 66 and I so enjoy seeing people I grew up listening to.!!! Rock On.!!!!
Had the pleasure of seeing the Cowsill's recently in Rhode Island at the Pawtucket Arts Festival Susan, Bob and Paul sounded AMAZING their harmonies were spot on a good time was had by all!!!! Hope they come back to Rhode Island soon.
Awesome, nothing like family ! The voices blend so well and there commitment to excellence. Never seen the perform unprepared ! Always true to the music.
This has always been one terrific song. Fantastic harmonies. The original recording from the 1960s is one of the most under-rated songs from that time.
Saw them last night in Nashville on the Happy Together Tour. They were absolutley fabululous. Met them backstage after the show. As talented performers, they are 11 on a scale of 10. As people, they are way beyound that. You keep rockin' Bobby, Paul, and Susan. We love you and appreciate you. Thanks.
They are always great to see live. I drove from Detroit Mi to CT to see them in 2011..well worth it !!!....Beautyful harmonies , Susan & Ross are cool to talk to & Bob will talk Red Sox a lot ,, & Paul likes meeting everyone too !!!.......'jeff
Man this brings back so many awesome memories. I love this song. I am so glad that you all are back singing again. God Bless you "Cowsills". I want to hear more, keep bringing it.
Such great talents so awesome to see you guys still performing... I have such great childhood memories of this great band. also of meeting and hanging with Susan... when she was married to Pete when Hootie & Blowfish did their Cracked Rear View Mirror tour. Susan you are truly a wonderful Soul!
This is a real moment. Love to see a band from long ago that rode the wave, ups and downs, drama, obscurity, warts and all. Then four decades later come back in a mere threesome that half-flubs it, but still in harmony and just being in the moment with the audience with them. Just beautiful! Thanks for sharing this. :)
Wow , I was Not even born Until 1967 and I grew up with all the Hand me Downs , I had 3 LP's and 5 of the 45's by 1971 -72 , I still Love the Music , I know the Story so well , but ya know What we Still got the Ones who stuck with it . Music is so Special , I hope in the end that Someone gets Paid up a little bigger , Thank you Jack :) QC
The people in that audience plus you and I know who they are bud...and thats all that matters... look after that gat mate he left it to you...not some pawn shop bargain hunter
Ok, I just discovered this group. I watched all the videos on you tube. This is incredible how they can sound so good live with only 3 band members. Obviously they broke up to soon way back when and faded into the music explosion at the time. Great to see they are still at it and going strong!
I heard my brothers listen to that music as a child , Only since we have computer I here those songs again. Been a long time but I never forgot the music. Love that old music .
Great Harmonies that are still there after all the years -Great 1st tune I heard that got my attention and I had to go buy the .45 record of it, which I still have to this day.
If you look @ my other videos...I recorded about 6 songs all together. They did - Beatled ,Simon & Garfunkle ,The Partridge Family , and there own 'Hair' & The Love Boat 'theme'. WHAT A NIGHT ! :)
Thank you so much for sharing this. I remember I cried when I was unable to see them at Topsfield Fair when I was little.....and DAMN didn't I miss them again when they were only a few miles from home.
I’ve listened to every version of this on UA-cam and anyplace else I can find it ! Such a great pop classic . Susan looking and sounding great . Ignore the looking comment , even now it sounds creepy to me ! She was just a little girl . Pissed that this show was so close to my location and I never knew about it !
lol!!!! I used to take a ruler as my mic, put one of those plastic flowers in my hair, stand on the coffee table (my stage) and sing this song over and over and over again. lol!!!! many memories.
Nice recollection... I used to stand in front of my mirror and pretend I was James Cotton. I eventually learned harmonica and I play his tunes live on stage.
They just needed more original songs. They could have been alot bigger than they were. They are like the Beatles without many original songs. They still are a great band.
I am ready for them to come back to Indy.!!! We have casinos!!! Please sign up with one!!!! Will pay what ever for front row seat!!! Love, you guys!!!!
You could pull them out of bed at 4 am...march them into a dark field..throw a blinding spotlight onto them and yell "harmonize" and they would do so perfectly.
Many people don't know this, but the original name of this band was The Cowpies. However, they quickly changed it to The Cowsills for obvious reasons. True story...

Brilliant !! Sounds so good !
This song is so great. When they sing "Happy, Happy, Happy", it reminds me of a song from church.
Only 3 vocals and 2 guitars, and they can still bring it and it still stands as a very dear song.
Absolutely agree. :)
Albert John Paul Schepis n
when you have real talent ...thats all thats required aye mate
Albert John Paul Schepis ... I totally agree ... a joy to watch
Amazing
Simply brilliant 👏 Real talent. Best wishes from England 🇬🇧

Wow....this is great! Harmonies can’t be beat!
So beautiful..I feel so old..tears are falling
The Cowsills harmonies are the greatest.
Saw them last night in Nashville on the Happy Together Tour.

Unplugged and angelic.
Very impressive. It just shows their true raw talent. They can still really bring it.
So very cool. they were all very talented. R.I.P. Billy
Love how animated Paul is. Such a performer! They are so great!
Wow! Beautiful singing by a legendary group. Still going strong. Bravo.
Considering the studio version has about 16 voices on it, just the 3 of them sounds really fantastic.
Still sounding GREAT!!!! Love you guys!!!
For me, this song has a top tier 60's sound. The recorded version's harmonies are right there with the best Beach Boys songs.
Thanks...... we loved you all back then to 1967 and love all you today.....
Talent can't be bought, this family had it since they were born!
God Bless The Cowsills! I love them to pieces!
I still love Susan, what a voice & still beautiful
Great Harmonies and it's live! I could not admit to liking the Cowsills back in the day but now I embrace everything great that came out of the 60's.
Pretty amazing how well they sing with their voices and two guitars!
Owwwww my gosh!!!! This sounds so great even after almost 50 years. Still love this song so much!!

So awesome they are there. I've loved them for 50 years.
I still love this song...and they still sound great :)

I have billy's guitar. he was a close family friend and when he passed away i got it in his will.. no1 ever seems to know who they are
Very nice. Hopefully you never pawn it and it gets passed down the generations of your family
The people in that audience plus you and I know who they are bud...and thats all that matters... look after that gat mate he left it to you...not some pawn shop bargain hunter
A lifetime of memory and talent wish i had a time machine i would go back and just stay there compared to the lack of talent now!
Bro give them more credit.i am a 26 year old metal head and i love this fucking song lmfao.
Hi Aaron we may be related!!!! And I love the Cowsill's all the way from Australia.....

Shockingly impressive. I love anyone who can sound just as good live, and I love seeing older artists show they still got it.
I've been listening to this song for 4 or 5 decades, with various members of their family, and never tire of hearing it.
You are great. Celso from Brazil.
I love the harmonies, sounds exactly like the 1968 TV performance !
They still sound so darn good! No electronics or auto tune, just pure talent. And, I still have one HUGE crush on Susan..lol
I met Susan a few yrs back when she was touring NJ. She played in a little coffee/music shop. Very down to earth and sounded great.
Love this...great to see them again...Aaron Eley I sure remember them quite well and loved their music.
FANTASTIC HARMONY!!! They still got it :-)
Amazing vocals from 3 of the original members. The Cowsills were an original feel-good band. I loved their recording of Hair.
Great fu...ing song and performance. Love their harmonies. Wish I had been there.
wow - I would never guess they could pull this song off live and make it sound good, but very nicely done.
Great Harmonies that are still there after all the years -Great 1st tune I heard that got my attention and I had to go buy the .45 record of it, which I still have to this day.

This is soooo cool, can't believe they are even still alive, not to mention that they could pull this off. Thanks for this great post! :)

So fortunate that we have YOU TUBE
This was the quintessential song of the 70s
I’ve listened to every version of this on UA-cam and anyplace else I can find it ! Such a great pop classic . Susan looking and sounding great . Lovin the Cowsills since day one
That was really good. I did love when the one didn't quite get the pitch right and took a couple times to hit it. Show's they're human.
