@@l618jeff5 Sure. But now it's becoming more theatrical and adventurous than it used to be. The best we used to have was Mariano Rivera coming out to Enter Sandman. Now they use lighting and other elements to make it more presentable.
@@o4tw382 Absolutely! I love it! But baseball is so traditional that it's taken them until 2023 to embrace it, when it could've/should've been a thing years ago.
As a teenager growing up in the 80s on a farm in a small with little or no tv, i fell in love with Kirby Puckett almost immediately when i read about him in our newspaper. He still is my favorite athlete all time because he was a twin and stayed a twin for life. I met him once, got his autograph, of course i have no idea where that is these days. Kirby was the best, I love when he said to his ex teammates win or im not talking to you, classic kirby. Died way too young, he made a few mistakes but he's at the top of my list for people I'd love to have a beer or 10 with.
This looks so cool, but it was even better being there for it. Could have done without the delay afterwards, but the end result was so worth the wait. Had an incredible time at my first ever live game
Aside from having the best entrance in baseball, he's an amazing guy in person. Always takes the time to interact with fans. Super nice. Incredibly humble. The Twins better lock him up long term.
It's the difference in the ballpark experience and watching the game on TV. Television is showing commercials and you miss this spectacle. But it does add to the excitement for the fans in the stadium.
Can we dream of this? God we have to break that little 18 game playoff losing streak, I can hear the announcers constantly harping on this throughout the game.
I dunno. This one is right up there. The Undertaker gong at the beginning is a bit more scary than Timmy Trumpet. They're both cool in their own, but different ways.
Imagine you think this touches Edwin Diaz’s intro… literally inspired 12 million Europeans to watch baseball and develop a baseball network that brought the sport there
Imagine if he got ejected right away for sticky stuff at the beginning when the umpire checked him 😭 (he won’t tho since he’s not a cheater but imagine….)
Nothing like becoming a MLB closer to make you feel like the coolest mf'er in the land whenever you come in
Yes, so long as you deliver the save

I love how baseball is slowly (oh so slowly) breaking out of their traditional ways and is allowing teams to make games more entertaining for fans.
Social media, pop culture, entertainment, the youth. It’s becoming so large that it’s inevitable. Embrace the change.
Wtf are you talking about. Closer entrance has been a thing for years

That entrance gives me goosebumps whenever I see it. Then seeing those 102mph balls he throws... Jes-sus.
I was at game two of the wild Card game and I agree goosebumps when he came in to advance the Twins to their first series win since 2002.
*105

Jhoan Duran: Give me my theme music!
The theme music: 🔥
El incomprendido by Farruko
That’s so cool. Love it

I'm not going to lie that's pretty Epic.
Watch those Twins come back to life. They got my vote
Duran and Jax are one of, if not the best, duo of closers/have the best walkup/out songs in MLB
Ik I just saw both of them yesterday
@@ClutchCMHsaw em both on Saturday
Awesome !!
Who remembers the little golf carts that use to bring the relievers yo the mound . So silly this is much better
It feels electric to be seeing this in person I whent to one last summer and saw it in person and then right after that watched a 1 2 3 inning
As a Yankee fan I have to admit this is the best entrance since Mariano Rivera "Enter Sandman" wow!!!!
Diaz from the Mets is good too!!
This would be #3 behind the two mentioned above. Enter Sandman strated it all and made it cool.
🎺
Only thing I can think of to make it better is if the song was "For Whom The Bell Tolls" and it pays homage a little bit.
Nah Diaz trumpets is way more lit. Crowd is ready to party when he comes out. This was ok though.
Daaaaaaaaaaaamn! That was sweet
I've always said that if I had a closer entrance song it would be "Shepard Of Fire" and I'd imagine that entrance would look a lot like this one
This goes so hard! Saw it live, was 🔥🔥🧨
what song is it?
@@joshg.7247el incomprendido
Legendary
joe nathan had a cool entrance also
STAND UP AND SHOOOOOOOOOOOUT
Got to witness this last night vs the white Sox. Shit was lit
Trevor Hoffman's was similar except it was Hells Bells he came out to. The bells do sound cool
I have been a hardcore NBA fan since 2003. And started liking baseball in 2013. Baseball is so slept on. But it won’t be for much longer!
The team he is up against..
Their Closer has the best ENTRANCE SONG!!!!!!
This is the last thing Houston or Seattle will want to see trailing in the 9th inning in October.
Edit: Or Toronto
Can we dream of this? God we have to break that little 18 game playoff losing streak, I can hear the announcers constantly harping on this throughout the game.
@@TomFest I can see this team catching fire after breaking that streak and going all the way to the World Series.

Just at a twins game bout an hour ago saw this😂
if this doesn’t get you fired up you never liked baseball
I'm sure I'd obliterate my rotator cuff, but if you give me this kind of entrance, I'm bringing every ounce of heat I have in my body 😅
Fire 🔥
yes you are 🔥🔥😍👌
Slow the bell down, and it's 💯
Not a twins fan...but this is 🔥🔥🔥
Same energy as MVP and his walkout for his first UFC fight!
What is the song called at 1:09
Hot by daddy Yankee and pitbull
Paul Seawald has a pretty cool entrace with the Arizona Diamondbacks
So sick
What's the name of the song though
Diaz still has him by the balls in entrances
I dunno. This one is right up there. The Undertaker gong at the beginning is a bit more scary than Timmy Trumpet. They're both cool in their own, but different ways.
Imagine you think this touches Edwin Diaz’s intro… literally inspired 12 million Europeans to watch baseball and develop a baseball network that brought the sport there
We need more thank the twins
Holy mackerel that's pretty neat!
What is the song
I like this one and I think it's the best closer entrance next to Edwin Diaz of the Mets.
Hader on the Astros has the sane effects
Love it. But it's only because he throws gas! If he threw 91 and had a 4.00+ era, it'd be a normal entrance. Haha.
Well yeah that's the point of closer enterences lol
I know we’re talking about fire
What song is this?
what song is this
Fernando Rodney also had an awesome entrance when he was with the Twins
That's about the only awesome thing about his tenure with the twins unfortunately.
What song is that at the start?
El Incomprendido
El Incomprendido by Farruko ft Victor Cardenas & Dj Adoni
How does Duran not have the nickname “El Fuego” by now?
From this intro alone you’re already down 2 strikes
I think it’s Josh Hader
I’d say Diaz is right up here with this one, but this is definitely epic af. Rivera’s is still the best ever, though. At least to me.
Edwin Díaz entrance is better. Goosebumps
True
what’s the song
WHY ISNT IT DURAN DURAN
I live in Minnesota and am a Twins fan and this is cool. But Edwin Diaz will hold the best of all time imo.
Cool but I would have just stuck with Undertaker theme.
This is literally Ryan Helsley of the Cardinals intro except his is way cooler because his last name matches the Hell theme
Camilo doval??
What’s this song called?
El Incomprendido by Farruko ft Victor Cardenas & Dj Adoni
NGL, I wouldn't be completely disappointed if I ever went to Target field to watch the Cleveland Guardians lose as long as I got to see this live.
I've seen it live close to a dozen times. It's incredible.
Go twins
i was there
One of the filthiest pitchers in baseball deserves such a dope entrance.
That looks cool but seems like the crowd wasn’t that into it.
The entire crowd turns on their phones flashlights on for this wdym
Song name?
El Incomprendido by Farruko ft Victor Cardenas & Dj Adoni
Pretty sure Dan Quisenberry had the same intro.

That was awesome but Edwin's entrance is pretty cool. Hope we get more cool entrances for other closers too.
I wish cleveland did this for Clase
Lyrics please in español - duolingo gringo here
Way better than the Mets dude
Enter Sandman…nuff said
Would have preferred Hells Bells closers should be Scary, and menacing.
He can’t use Hells Bells because a Yankees player already has it
This looks very similar to Andres Munoz's entrance in Seattle...
Somewhat, because of the flashing lights. Durán began using his fire entrance a few months before Munoz debuted his in Aug 2022.
@@TalkinTwins Yeah. The appearance looks similar but the concepts are different.
Maybe if I could understand it
Ya gotta be thereu
I don’t know man Felix Bautista is more intimidating
I liked it better when it was Trevor Hoffman. Only the ominous bell 😱
This is just the same thing as Robert Suarez😂
Imagine if he got ejected right away for sticky stuff at the beginning when the umpire checked him 😭 (he won’t tho since he’s not a cheater but imagine….)
Twins did all this just to still never beat the Yankees
Please, God, just let them use spider-tack again
Wilkinson Stravenue
nah Edwin's got him
Leannon Alley
🔥🔥🔥
He’s awesome, but he’s no LaFlama Blanca.
Dickinson Plaza
Swaniawski Landing
Edwin Diaz with the Mets is better with Timmy Trumpet and I'm a Twins fan
Definitely a good entrance….but the best??? It didn’t give me goosebumps, and I need goosebumps for it to even be among the best
Camilo Doval has a better entrance imo
It's good...but it's no Edwin Diaz entrance... that's epic
His is just a trumpet that’s it
Bergstrom Ports
Trevor Hoffman
Its no ricky vaughn
