This is extremely helpful to me as I believe that my thermostat was gone in my ds3 because I was driving Ali g n all of a sudden the temp gage went full temp n big red letters told me to STOP 🛑!! So lucky I was very close to home and left it forgot about it went out in the morning to go work and doh!!! Turned the key and the stop sign n temp gauge went to the top again !!! I believe that the thermostat had gone but watching a video on You Tube the guy said it may be the coolant sensor, now so I am A. Wondering do I need to change the thermostat still if I buy a new thermostat housing or do that do that aswell? Logically I’m guessing you will…. And b. When looking at what thermostat. Housing to buy it says on the description that it comes with a senor, now is that the coolant system sensor or a sensor in the housing unit? I hope you understand what I mean… and can help me with my questions lol my car is off road and had been now for 2 days and I’m going out of my mind with boredom stuck at home, I’ve even finished the spare bedroom junk room, cleaned the house from top to bottom…hahahaaaaa and many thanks

Yes.The problem is the thermostat sensor. And if it is never changed before i suggest you change the complete thermostat housing as it comes with the sensor.Factory ones are with built in sensor that you cannot replace. If you need more help feel free to ask :) and watch my other videos about the citroen ds.You will find out more things about what you should do :) Thanks

    Hello
At min 0.54 over your thumb there is a coonection with a little nose right beside your nail. behind the connection you see the tube. How is this connected to the housing? There is no clamp arround. How is the way to disconnect and conect?
Tanks a lot for the video- I ordered the housing and sent i back because wrong sensor connection. now i know i need the adapter cable. That means the old housing has one sensor and the nwe 2?
    Regards Thomas
Ps i forgot; my housing has a crack.
