What would be cool is have organized RC motocross races, and events, if this thing is as popular, as it looks like it may be. What would also be cool is if they could get licenses from the real dirt bike manufacturers, and make replicas of popular bikes from companies like Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Can-Am, and others.
As an outdoor motocross Racer myself this thing is a game changer. It's been over 20 years since we've had something that made me super excited like the promoto MX. I have a bunch of other RC motorcycles and they don't even compare to the promoto in handling and performance. I have a custom RC dirt bike from Germany that cost me $1200 and it's a joke compared to the promoto mx. I Have the Sky Rc and Exceed RC dirtbikes and they are like Toy R us quality compared to the Promoto MX. The videos don't do the same Justice you have to play with one in person it's so much fun and so realistic it's insane. Team Losi did some magic!
Some of us Moto guys use the front brake to keep the front wheel planted while cornering by slightly dragging the brake. Jean-Michel Bayle was known to do this with both brakes regularly smoking a set of pads. You guys should test programming in the MX6 to front brake drag while cornering?
if Losi understands what they have achieved they will continue with this kit and make a streetbike. In the best case with some classic race-bike bodies like the 1999 Honda Fireblade, the late 90s Kawasaki ZX7R and the late 90s Suzuki GSXR. They can use a lot of parts from the Promoto and produce race-ready high-speed onroad bikes for competition.
I want one of these soooooooo baaaaaad….price tag is pretty heavy though but considering the scale of it I can understand the price. I’ll have to wait.
Replace the slipper clutch with the old Hydradrive minus the slipper section. Dirt in a slipper sucks and rebuilding is going to be a common occurrence because of it. Hydradrives would be near immune to dirt.
I have been building and running several Kyosho HOR street bikes and this is definitely a higher caliber bike. It would be interesting to see this tech developed into a street bike form. Any plans on such a build?
Make it so the handle bars turn and the rider leans a little to the left and right, so I can scrub and whip the thing. And I’ll give you my money. You’re almost there. I dig the FXR gear also, I rock their gear myself. Have many sets. And make a KTM orange one and I’ll be sold for sure! But there’s no way I would buy a green, red, blue one…. KTM FTW!
trust we love the idea of a dynamic rider, but imagine the cost and how do you keep it durable?! maybe in the future but for now at least we can offer you the orange optional panels then you download the artwork die lines from our website and then you or your buddy can replicate your graphics :)
This is amazing… not to cast any shade on all the phenomenal achievements but the rider still seems a little small… like 3or 4 % such a small detail 👌🏽
As a motorcyclist, Losi would kill it if they expanded the line and make road bikes. People will buy even if they are not into RC. Excited for these to hit the market.

A lot of us race motocross, or do you mean you race rc moto? I didn’t know there was more then 2 company’s that made them? This is the first one iv seen that actually works very well.
@@timprice8877 RC Moto of course. 1/8 Onroad class since 2009, 1/5 Onroad and 1/4 Offroad since 2010. The ARx 540 Bike was the first Upper-Level Cross bike, the Ricky Carmichael Bike was more hobby/Toy grade. There should be some Videos on UA-cam from our "Alpencup" race series back then.
What an amazingly well executed launch. From the engineering and design that went into the Promoto-MX, to the marketing and social media launch, Losi has certainly captured the attention of the RC community.
This is the most impressive rc vehicle I've ever seen. You guys went the extra mile in the inventing & engineering process to acheive a highly realistic and durable bike. You deserves awards. Nearly every maker/builder/designer/etc. can learn something watching this. Anyways, congratulations 👏 👏 👏
Super impressive! The functionality is incredible. I'm an old school moto guy and still have 4 motorcycles so this really speaks to me. Watching the detailed videos of frame layout I was really impressed with how your team was able to get everything packaged in the form factor of a motorcycle. I've been spending too much time thinking about adding a gyro controlled wheelie/stoppie functionality to the LMT so we can mimic the slow technical stuff we see on MT freestyle now. That's pretty far outside my wheel house, but maybe your software/engineering team can work on it for a TLR MT FS Edition (freestyle). Keep up the great work, I've been a Losi fan for decades since my Mini T and LST back in the early 2000s.
I love the bike and I will be buying one but I just don't know about the three driving modes, I'm wondering if there's a driving mode where there's no input at all just you controlling it

The steering servo won't work when my moto tilts left or right. What's wrong? ?Moreover, when turning, the car body just falls to one side, and the flywheel seems to have no effect.
Losi is so proprietary, I'll wait a couple years for the price to go down, but let's be honest losi makes one of the most expensive RC cars you can buy
This is way cool! It really is going to be a hit for the RC industry from Losi. They have done a great job on this one. One additional feature that would be awesome and give this a more realistic look is if they were able the have the ability to have a button or a small lever that allows the character to go from sitting to a full stand up position at times while riding or jumping, Hopefully that will happen someday. I think there would be a way for their engineers to pull that off. But either way this is awesome.

I enjoy figuring out how things work and this got me into the whole thing without ever having to turn a wrench! It looks cool, looks like it drives great and I am sure it will be a ton of fun!

How much room is in the battery compartment? Will a standard 5000 2S hard shell with balance taps fit? (in other words what non Spektrum batteries will fit).

I've seen these 1/4 scale MXer's from a few different companies over the years, but this is the only one I've seen that looks to be done right. I hope we will get to see a class of these racing on a dirt track finally!! If Losi sticks with these for more than a year, I'll grab a couple!
the flywheel and dampened steering with those side bars are what so many rc bikes have missed. The chain drive and real front brakes are an awesome novel detail to transfer power/stop and make it more real too
It is not coming any noise when i change driving mode! But awesome bike. But i had problem to get the steering strait forward, but i hope i did something wrong when i started the bike up last time. Because the first time was insane fun on all mode! Thanks Losi!😍
The chain looks cool and seems a great idea, that is until you read the manual about chain maintenance... (I'd much rather have a drive shaft instead of the chain, who wants to completely clean the chain with special cleaners, then oil the chain after every run? Here in southern Arizona, we have fine dirt and lots of dust, and I sure don't want to have to clean & lube this chain after every use, and the run times are only 9 to 12 minutes! I'd love to get this bike, but with the after every run, clean & lube the chain is a big turnoff for me, I doubt I'll get this bike just because of that) What the owners manual says... "DRIVE CHAIN The drive chain should be cleaned and lubricated after every running session. To clean the drive chain: 1. Spray the chain with Nitro RC Car Cleaner (DYN5505) or other plastic and electronics-safe cleaner. 2. Wipe the chain with a clean cloth and allow to dry thoroughly. 3. Repeat the above steps until no dirt or grease appears on the cloth. 4. Lightly apply the included chain oil to the roller portion of the chain links, working around the entire chain. 5. Spin the rear wheel to work the oil fully into the chain. 6. Wipe away any excess oil with a clean cloth."

This bike looks absolutely fantastic...except for the wheel spokes, so plastic and out of scale. A metal wire option would be great. Also, the driver's head bounce is something you may improve. Congrats for so good RC product.
Do you have the BT2000 card for the ms6x controller? I have just put the BT module in and read the settings from the controller and now all the end points and AUX channels are messed up. I dont know what the default settings are for this bike. Do you have a video or any help?
When's the 3S -4S version coming ?? Or a 3s/4s upgrade kit, people already converting them to 3s and 4s and using a external BEC to keep.the giro on 2s power supply, com on losi step.the game up
My ProMoto is dead after 1 run. My flywheel control is backwards- I have it set to off on the controller and when I turn on the bike the flywheel spools up. I turn the switch to on and the flywheel starts turning off. Horizons support hasn’t gotten back to me since I submitted my ticket on Sunday. Anyone else have this issue and if so how did you fix it? I’m trying to re-bind the controller to the bike but that doesn’t seem to be working either.
Honestly - this thing got a front-discbrake and Gyro......and they know how to program it to make Wheelies. Why didn't tthey make Stoppies/Nosewheelies as well?
Was blown away when i got mine last week. Now i allready have two of them. Just waiting for better weather outside to ride them. Both my daughters is in love with them to and can't wait for the premiere!👌

This bike looks absolutely fantastic...except for the wheel spokes, so plastic and out of scale. A metal wire option would be great.
Also, the driver's head bounce is something you may improve.

Do you have the BT2000 card for the ms6x controller? I have just put the BT module in and read the settings from the controller and now all the end points and AUX channels are messed up. I dont know what the default settings are for this bike. Do you have a video or any help?
When's the 3S -4S version coming ?? Or a 3s/4s upgrade kit, people already converting them to 3s and 4s and using a external BEC to keep.the giro on 2s power supply, com on losi step.the game up

My ProMoto is dead after 1 run. My flywheel control is backwards- I have it set to off on the controller and when I turn on the bike the flywheel spools up. I turn the switch to on and the flywheel starts turning off. Horizons support hasn’t gotten back to me since I submitted my ticket on Sunday. Anyone else have this issue and if so how did you fix it? I’m trying to re-bind the controller to the bike but that doesn’t seem to be working either.

Honestly - this thing got a front-discbrake and Gyro......and they know how to program it to make Wheelies. Why didn't tthey make Stoppies/Nosewheelies as well?
Was blown away when i got mine last week.
Now i allready have two of them.
Just waiting for better weather outside to ride them.
