As everyone knows this bike is a game changer. I wanted to comment on the great quality of this, and all other Losi videos with this guy explaining things. Far and away the best disassembly, (and just as importantly), reassembly videos out there. I'm a pretty hardcore Traxxas guy, but this bike, combined with the quality of these videos, have definitely gotten me more interested in looking into other Losi products.
@@patrickkelly7789 Everyone should own a Losi LMT. It's the most fun you can have with an RC. It behaves like a real monster truck. I have all 3 as well. The Losi Promoto Mx has that wow factor but the Losi LMT will put the biggest smile on your face.
I think this is funny watching this 3 months after I pre-ordered in June on the release date through a well established retailer....And yet here I am ....No bike ,no answers just excuses as to why me and many others are still waiting for this to be in our hands. 2 month old video LOL. You dropped the ball on this one Horizon/Losi. You have taken a well known name in RC and are driving it in the ground....just my opinion. Have a great day.
You even tightened the front axel like a real bike. I just pulled the trigger on a green bike. I fly rc helicopters and planes but its a different type of fun than something on the ground.
At 3:36 you refer to the LEVER ARM as a servo arm. The brake cable actuates a lever arm. Most mechanical caliper designs have 1 lever arm that moves only the outer brake pad when actuated. The rotor then flexes over into contact with the inner most pad.
Hi. I’ve just got the red Promoto and the front disc is totally loose is that right? It doesn’t wobble in your vid the screws don’t seem to be tightened up correctly. Should the disc wobble freely?
Does the bike have a rear brake or engine braking? What keeps it balanced under braking? Front brakes only will cause Front end to dive entering a turn
id like to see a better brake system if im being honest a cable seems like a bad idea to me i wonder how hard it would be to make a tiny hydraulic line
The crosspattern for fastening screws of the brakedisc doesn't make a difference in this case as the brakedisc moves freely over the fat part of the screws..........
This bike is the #1 rc. Thank you Losi

Dang that front brake is actually functional 😮 very impressive new rc!! Looking forward to seeing a mini paddle tire and some dune riding😊
Thank you for these videos.
The last 3 RCs I've purchased were all Losi.
Baja Rey
Gravedigger LMT
PRO Moto
Keep killing it dudes.
Which one do you think is the funnest

Thanks for taking the time to explain every step (even if you did some of the steps multiple times in the other videos already)!
This was an super helpful video!!! Great job.

Yet we're all still buying one 😂
Took me almost 7 months to get mine lol. So yes, horrible launch, but the wait was worth it in the end
That's the best feature for me in that awesome bike 😍🤙
This thing is awesome 👌
Thats way too awesome cool way for me to get into dirtbikes without spending a bunch !!
Cant believe the thing actually has a little front cable and working brake pads😮, even if i drove it once in a blue moon i want it.

in france we can't wait to try it
When is the next batch? I heard December. Surely not!!! Ordered sat from hh
Good info! Thank you!
Gracias
How tight should the front brake be? I’m having issue with it either too loose or too tight
Will the bike come with a schematic like Traxxas shows their motor esc wiring?. Or it is available on the website already?.
where can we buy new brake pads ?? the ones i have has already broke where the pin goes through it on both pads

I Gotta get this bike
When is the video for the triple clamps install be available ?
This bike needs a light kit 😎
That’s really all I want to do other than personalizing my number.

Deburring the brake piston definitely helps the brake function properly
Our Brake Caliper & Servo Horn Cover will prorect your brake perfectly.

Motor braking rear, manual brake in front, the flywheel keeps it balanced always, provided it’s running.
@@GeddyRC Sweet Thanks
There's an adjustment for brake bias, front to magnetic back. Too cool! Can't wait for my Honda to show up!
@@clean1566 Now they need to come out with Jett Lawrence and other pro rider gear that would be awesome
So the Big question is:
Can it do nose wheelies?
That would send real mx'ers over the top...
it does

It's a toy man the brakes work great .

It's still a good practice to always do.
Cringes everytime he calls a parts the wrong part.. LOL

Sorry! "Brake discs" are actually disc brake pads. I'll stop watching and stop being an a-hole!
