I have that version and I love it. It's not perfect, but I don't like Macs and I am deep in thw Samsung ecosystem. I use it mostly with Adobe CC and it works great for my needs. It amazes me they don't sell the I9 everywhere. Great review as always!😊

I've been digging my Galaxy Book 360 Pro from a few years ago. a few minor issues with it's build/frame. Speakers are bad when sitting on your lap or a desk, and when the laptop is in your lap the bottom of the frame clicks the trackpad. Here's hoping they finally fix these issues!
I recently picked up the Dell XPS 15 (9530). It's awesome so far, running my games flawlessly. I only got the FHD+ but it's surprisingly good. I was afraid with the i9 and rtx 4070 (@40W!) but this thing smokes! I'm really pleased--and that's coming from a 16" M1 Pro owner. I wanted to try the Book 3 Ultra but corporate doesn't deal with Samsung. It's all good, though; that off-centered trackpad and wobbly screen would drive me insane!
This laptop was made for people who don't necessarily work in a professional field but want a laptop that has decent, somewhat high-end, hardware specs, that looks more like a professional laptop rather than a typical obnoxious gaming one.
I'm disappointed they didn't make this a 360 version like Asus did with the x16. I have the book2 ultra and love it but when using GPU heavy programs its horrible.

If they made a 360 version of this I would be splurging right now... I have the pro 360 first gen, and I LOVE it for drawing, but it's feeling a bit limited without a proper graphics card... I also wish they offered 32GB of RAM
As a galaxy ecosystem user, It's so disappointing that a macbook is still the way to go. I recently purchased a MBP(older model) and i'm so happy with it but i hope one day Samsung won't cut corners and actually make something that can compete with Apple's laptops. Not sure what's holding them back.
I just bought a mid 2009 13 inch MacBook Pro just to try how this laptop would hold up in 2023 and I’m amazed how this laptop holds up the build quality and Multi-Touch trackpad are still better than a lot of windows pc laptops today and thanks to open core legacy patcher I can run MacOS monetary on it
The error saying the timeline video quality is draining the gpu.. 🤦♂️ the timeline isnt supposed to be 4k, you dont need 4k quality throughout the editing process just when exporting to h.264

But every people don't do. If this is a creator specific laptop, then Samsung should give us every port in a very good amount. You say "base" and "entry level" but do you understand that your reviewing the Ultra model which is the most expensive one they have, out of 5 models. The ultra cost 2,500 dollars if you get the i7 and 3,000 if you get the i9 the base or entry level actually cost between 800 and 900 and doesnt come with the 3k amoled it has an LCD apart from that your video is very good and high quality and its accurate for the most part nicely done

Samsung user here...3 tvs, tablets, s23ultra. Just returned the book3 ultra huge disappointment. Trackpad too big, keys too small, palm interferes but dealbreaker was the random locking up and sudden schizophrenic behavior causing apps to open close and erasing of data while editing documents. Someone needs to tell Samsung to start turning these into lapdocks. I'd buy a beautiful piece of hardware like this in a heartbeat. But i already have a desktop PC that this laptop can't come close to and if i need to take it on the road, all i need is my Fold3 and a lapdock and Parsec (or any remote desktop app). Agree. It is overpriced for a laptop with 13700h and 4050. You can get Asus laptop with metal chassis, 13980h (way more powerful) and 4060 at same price. But book 3 ultra is light and thin. Macbook does have much better battery life and reasonable performance since they got their own designed soc which optimized for laptop (e.g. no smt, low frequency, relative large core design including large ROB). Intel , AMD and NV need to apply their chipset design to server, HEDT, desktop and laptop. Because server's market size is way larger than laptop, they are more willing to develop a chip suitable for server/desktop market other than laptop market. And obviously server and desktop don't care about power consumtion.

I scooped up this laptop about a month ago. I have had a wonderful experience so far. I am not a content creator, so I can't speak on that aspect. However for my needs, it has been great. The screen quality is absolutely amazing. I've also been playing death stranding on this laptop and it's been great. The fans do get loud, but I always play with headphones anyway so it doesn't bother me. The battery life is definitely not that good... But it charges up pretty quickly, so it's a non-issue for me. I will also say that I'm coming from a 2021 Dell XPS that I had from work. The XPS laptops build quality was really poor. I didn't realize how poor it was until I bought this laptop lol. This thing is built like a tank. I think if you're a Samsung user, this laptop or anyone of the laptops in this family would be a good pickup. Of course, if you are an Apple user, the MacBook is a no-brainer. But I'm not a fan and I don't use Apple products, so this was the next best thing for me. I really did not want to get a proper gaming laptop... This one is nice because it looks very professional and clean but you can still game on it. I also picked up the S8 ultra tablet. Using the dual screen feature is a really nice and acts like a second monitor. I've taken both of these products on an international trip that I'm on currently, and it's been really great to get work done on the go. Highly recommend both of these products!
4K video editing shouldn't be such a big deal honestly since one can use proxies...whether in da vinci resolve, premeire pro and even 3D workloads ... without affecting the quality of the final export

Seems like a good, but not great laptop. No HDMI 2.1 port and meh battery life hurts it. If you just work from home/office and you stay plugged in while doing series work, then it shouldn't be an issue. Stil won't hold a candle to the M2 Max or the latest M3 Max.
I guess you have no clue about Linux laptops and how fast and powerful they are.. They make Apple look like continental drift. And the love of Linux....You need to look because once you try you'll never go back!!!
I have a Samsung gaming laptop that I purchased over 11 years ago. It still runs pretty well with the games I play, but I know I may need to replace it soon. Maybe I can catch a good sale for the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra.
Samsung keeps on screwing up their galaxy books every year. Last year the 16:9 display and now this! Imagine buying a 2400$ Laptop and the screen wiggles as this one does. Just not acceptable in my opinion. Samsung's Laptops are such a joke compared to macbooks. So sad since all the other products in the galaxy universe are awesome in my opinion.

The fix with sound is that you need to enable Dolby Atmos, night and day difference with sound without it.

Appreciate you mentioning the bilingual keyboard in Canada. I would have bought a Galaxy Book Pro 360 by now if it wasn't for the keyboard.

The off center keyboard is a dealbreaker. I don’t need the number pad.
While I’m not a fan of those, in fairness, you do get used to them real quick and they stop annoying you.

Samsung keeps on screwing up their galaxy books every year. Last year the 16:9 display and now this! Imagine buying a 2400$ Laptop and the screen wiggles as this one does. Just not acceptable in my opinion. Samsung's Laptops are such a joke compared to macbooks. So sad since all the other products in the galaxy universe are awesome in my opinion.
i have 2 monitors ( each 5k2k 49inch samsung ) can this laptop power both of them simultaneously ,, for trading stocks and forex ?
