Yes, the waitlist doesn’t apply to Roam. Which makes the waitlist silly to begin with. This way people that were going to order Roam to bypass can get Residential and save $45/month.
The main reason to wait is they put more satellites in the area and keep service high. If you cheat the system, you will be cheating fellow Starlink users and yourself.
People that do this would just buy Roam anyway if they really needed Starlink, so it doesn’t necessarily prevent people from signing up in these areas. This way they can save some $ by not having to pay $165/month for Roam.
@ yes but they can put up more satellites and more total satellites means more coverage. They can also “replace” with newer better satellites over time as well. I know the the difference between Leo and fixed satellites.
Not surprising, my speeds just SW of Portland have been very slow lately compared to a few months ago.
Now you have alerted SpaceX Starlink to this the anomaly the error will be corrected.
I will send them an invoice for my quality control testing!
🤣 hahahaa
I tried it and it didn’t update the address for my side
Did you get an error message?
Hmmm sounds like a neat idea, here in Zimbabwe where i stay im in a sold area but never i see any starlinks anywhere!
Lol! People installed them in hidden areas. Remember there was a time you'd get arrested for having one.
Some are placed on lawns
Even the idea of changing the address it ain't working in your country
@@TravelFilmz we're stuck on the wait-list.
Can you still get roam plan with an address in the sold out region?

They can't put more satellites in an area. That's not how orbital mechanics in low Earth orbit works.

Elon musk will find you 🙏😭
Elon Musk is personally going to order Starlink to throttle my connection speeds down to 1 Mbps for the next year for making this video.
