  • This is a frequency counter that I bought from Amazon. It's rated from 10Hz to 2.4Ghz. I try it out with a couple of my function generators and then take it apart to look inside. See more electronics videos at www.smbaker.com/

I have a Frequency meter almost the same as this, but I don't know how to use it. I would like to know some site or videos that have examples and exercises with this frequency meter to use.

Hello, I am not an expert in electronics but I have a question. I have a computer which generates a frequency of 2MHz but I have no information about it, only that it generates a frequency of 2MHz. It has been suggested to me that you use a frequency counter to know how precise the frequency is or what the uncertainty of said frequency is. With VC2000 you can have an idea??

Curious why you said that? It's obviously not a B&K or an HP, but for a $100 counter, it didn't look bad. I personally can't see myself justifying spending $400 on a B&K if I'm not setting up an electronic repair company.
