Try changing your detection (det) level to 8. When that happens when in analog or digital it will start displaying frequencies around 2300 Mhz. At Det level of 9 it won't display a frequency. Even if you have all wifi or other sources turned off it will still display a frequency. Big problem.
You can use it to find local frequencies so you can monitor them if you see someone with a radio transmitting across the road the counter will pick it up the frequency with out you being next door to them
Nice work Jez, can’t wait for the next video. 👍😉
Nice bit of kit Jez great review 👍
Cheers found out there’s a alarm paging system transmitting on 461.260 and 461.265 at work just pushing through data

Perfect, exactly what I needed to know about this. Thank you!👍🍻
dumb question! what's the point of a frequency counter other than to check radio frequency? why does range matter in that context ?

the only dumb questions are the ones we don't have an answer for

I fitted a 14inch whip with bnc connector , picks up way better Jez
Was thinking of trying it with a external antenna and seeing what it picks up . Will try the whip idea
