Can You Ride It?! My Old Coffee Table

- Coffee tables aren't just for coffee and books that nobody ever reads. Sure, they make a good foot rest for your heels while kicking back and watching tv, but why not flip it over and try to ride it behind the boat? For starters, it weighs about 35 lbs and doesn't have the best wake surf shape, but why not send it? Wakesurfing, that comes later, but first Tommy and I need to check her seaworthiness so we let's grab the wakeboard rope and smash the throttle...gently. Looking for fails and bails, spoiler alert, you came to the right spot. You may just find some skiing, wake boarding, a couple big airs while yer here as well. Thanks for stopping by!

No joke Jerr! I was seriously concerned once we were up and running. Way too much weight and them legs looked like spikes

So Awesome! Although, I don't think I'll add wakeboarding on a coffee table to my bucket list. :) It was awesome to visit today at OWC! Thanks for literally showing me the ropes on that swing. 😃 Love what you guys are doing with faith and fun, that is what our family is all about. 👍 Looking forward to the next Florida trip for some wakeboard coaching from you!

Love the coffee table it puts a new definition to couch surfing. kind-of LOL... Do you have a video of the ropes and equipment you use. I seen lots of your boards and some equipment, I've noticed you ropes look different. I'm 42 years old with a 20 year old son and 18 year old daughter we're all learning how to wakeboard and surf. We first started watching you on ANW. You're and inspiration to us and every time I'm trying to teach someone on my boat I have them watch your videos first to get them started. Thanks for all that you do.
Wakeboard lines are static (no stretch), and waterski ropes tend to be dynamic (stretchy to some degree). Keeping the handle still is one of the fundamentals to riding and a static line can help. Here's a link to the 2 lines I use.

@@Shaun.Murray thanks so much. I just got my Shaun Murray board and HL bindings this weekend just in time for the fourth. I love the way this board rides and for the 144 with the red white and blue bottom thanks for your videos I’m watching daily and getting better each day.
I know so many people that would have a heart attack if they did that. I can’t even 180 on a wakeboard but going for wake to wake right now.
