    Really interesting. I finally gave in and bought a miter grinding machine. Worked great on soft tiles but the wear on porcelain tiles was very significant. Took to cutting most of the meat off with the angle grinder, and finishing the cut on the mitering machine. Cheers from NZ.

  • @blzbub1

    You have way more patience than I have. You must contact a local engineering place, I'm sure they could easily machine out those gantry-stops slightly to accurately add another 2 degrees to them for you. It would save you so much time and I doubt it would be expensive. Does the blade on the Zoe leave a nice edge if you cut the mitre the other way, top to bottom, or does it chip the top edge (face) Either way, fantastic workmanship!

    • @tidybrickslandscaping
      @tidybrickslandscaping  2 роки тому +1

      The blade should only go one way as it spins more chance of chipping front to back direction. Machine cut off site would of been great but then chance off damage in delivery 🚚
      Either way it’s a long old process almost 5 weeks already !! 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 still not done

    How adjustable is your saw? can it go to 47°?
    I would use that, would be nice n quick if it did. just move the tile back a mm away from the blade after the 45° cut.

    • @tidybrickslandscaping
