    Scott that’s superb mate.
    If ever there was a case for mitring an edge, that is it. That pattern works so much better like that.
    I’ve started mitring all my exposed edges that are flush now. Not sure if I’ll do it on every job as there is much more work in it, as you know. I may offer as an extra on the job.
    On another note, it’s nice when your not filming on a job isn’t it, just crack on and you’re not thinking “oh I’ll have to film this” get the stand out etc 😂

      Cheers Matt and yeh that was a good time to do it on that deco edge it does look so much better now 👍. That feature wall I’ll do behind the patio the drystack veneers are out of stock 8\10 weeks ffs
      I’ll be mitring the deco going up the wall too eventually when I’ve got everything that should make a good video a Feature wall 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿. Have a good weekend mate 🍻 pubs are open for you another week for us !!

    Glad I found this. I work with wood as a hobby so a miter is not some crazy idea yet I did not think of it for the tile Im putting on my patio. This looks great. Cant wait to get crackin on it.

      That was my first attempt at mitring and I’ve literally just finished my current patio project where I had 124 linear meters of it and it took me months to do 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿. Porcelain feature wall it’s called

    Hi Scott, really enjoying the video’s, can I please ask? I’ve got to lay one row of front step of deco tiles. Doing you think I could stick them with a porcelain exterior tile adhesive instead of sand and cement? As I don’t want too much thickness, thanks Andy.

    • @tidybrickslandscaping
      @tidybrickslandscaping  3 роки тому

      As long as you have a nice flat surface the exterior tile adhesive would be fine 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

    I think you will regret mitring the exposed edge. You have weakened the edge, just a touch with anything heavy will result in a razor sharpe edge. The arris should strengthened not weakened. Looks good I agree but not long term

    My Marshalls installer was a pile of shit. Not only was he highly recommended by Marshalls and had all the badges, was rated highly, good feedback and won awards but he also didn't own a table saw! He lied, deceive and then dumped the job with 7sqm to go and his fitter said he was told there wasn't enough money in the job and so they were moving to another job!
    Even Marshall's couldn't get him to come back to finish it. they said there was nothing they could do. Bloody useless. if only he had 105 of your skill and work ethic - I would have been ok.
