Oh, I love that little gold graphic. Such fun! I totally agree with The Fairest Heart….that was such a good retelling and I loved the ranch setting. How the did the part with the apple was clever. I bought Wingfeather for our church library but I haven’t read it yet. I think I am intimidated by fantasy. I don’t quite understand a lot and that keeps me from trying them. We are so fortunate to have all these authors writing books for us. I only hope they know we’re grateful. Hope you’re having a good January. 💖
Great recommendations video! They all sound intriguing. I've only read Fairest of Heart, but I have a few of these on my Kindle, so I'm going to move them up closer to the top of the TBR pile. Thanks, Lou!
Thank you for mentioning the spice level of The Cairo Curse, the story sounds interesting but I've been weary of it because the intimacy detail of the first one was a bit much for me
The Architect sounds really good. I just added it to my TBR. I also have Code Name Edelweiss on my list. I'm in the middle of Better Watch Out and I believe it will be a 5 star.
I love this! Great idea! I read several of these as well and really enjoyed them, especially All That Really Matters by Nicole Deese and Set the Stars Alight by Amanda Dykes. Both favorites of mine! I have to admit, even though I normally love Jocelyn Green, I DNFd the Metropolitan Affair. I don't know, I guess I just got bored. 😬
That’s interesting. This is the first book I’ve read by Jocelyn Green so I have nothing to compare it to. I want to read some other books by Nicole Deese this year. I love her style of contemporary romance.
I loved Counted With the Stars. I read the rest of the series and the other series that has some of the same characters. I love her Biblical fiction. All That Really Matters was okay when I read it, but it has stuck with me and I think I liked it more than I realized. 😊
I’d like to read some more books in the Connilyn Cossette series. I think I like biblical fiction best when it’s about people who aren’t real life characters from the Bible.
❤❤❤
Subscribed because this is AWESOME ❤❤❤

Wohoo! Honored to be among so many other brilliant reads! Thanks for taking the time to share about your favorite reads!
Thank you for writing it 🥰

Counted with the Stars sounds good. I'm reading Exodus right now. I should read Cossette's book!
It brought the story to life for me and it was interesting to read from the perspective of a person on the fringe of the events.

I looked for Better Watch Out and they have it on Amazon but no audio yet it seems. I keep meaning to read Cossett.
I know, I looked for the audio but I think she may have published it independently so I’m not sure if she’ll do an audio version.
I want to read Fairest Heart!

My favorite books last year was the Mark of the Lion series by Francine Rivers! 🥰
One day I’m going to pick up that series. It gets a lot of love 🥰
Better Watch Out yes❤❤
Yes ❤️
Nicole Deese is so great❤
Weirdly, UA-cam came up with a message asking if I’d like to translate that comment into English 😂 🤔
All these books are free from foul language???
Yes. No swearing. I usually mention in my review if I find any words that would would be considered bad in Britain.
