How do you know to use PETG can not seem to find the same color blue they used in PETG only darker blues?
I got 5M for $200 new of ebay. but felt cheated becuase the picture on Amazon looks like it had enclosure.
Still a great deal though! You can print an enclosure once you get it.
Love your videos - Learning a ton from the 5M playlist you made - Was wondering if you could do a quick video on OrcaSlicer? I've tried it but not having any luck with my machine. USB not showing up, etc... Would love to see a quick little guide and how you use it with PLA and PETG.
I just put cardboard on the sides with double sided foam tape and my next PLA print was much better.
I’m interested in enclosures.
I bought one. I sent them an email asking if they could make it $300 again since a lot of videos were popping up regarding that price and lots of people were interested. It was on Amazon since last week for $300 with limited quantity but they keep increasing the quantity because it keeps selling. Really good printer loving mine, even though it does make clicking noises
Got my first 5M a week ago after watching your other videos. Loved it so much I ordered a 2nd one but from Walmart and also for $299
That is a neat print, but my god is that a lot of filament, as you noted.
Love your 5m videos in general, they really helped me make the leap into this machine as a first time 3d Printer owner. Keep up the good content.

What does semi enclosed mean? Are there no acrylic windows?
No windows. It's more of a shell than an enclosure.
So you can’t print abs without an enclosure?
You can, but it's not recommended since ABS has a tendency to warp without a heated enclosure. Also, it gives off fumes that aren't good to constantly breathe in.
@@FigureFeedback thanks for the heads up. I've decided on swapping out my 5m for the 5m Pro now. Also I saw a video where you have a print for the items that come with the printer. Id like to print that but can't find it again lol.. Mind sharing?
