I've been reselling for a few years, & have watched probably thousands of hours of reseller content. I get the most value from yours. Much appreciated!
Love your stuff, I have been picking all my life (67). Opened an eBay account in 2000, and a store in 2012. But closed it in 2014 and went back to work (pay was too good to turn down). However, I have still continued to buy and put back for retirement years. So I’m putting my store back out there in January 2022. I’m still 3 years from fully retiring, but thought its time to get swinging. Blessings, Richard
Where to begin. Once again, so much actionable information provided. Outside of comics and vinyl we have been doing things like this for a while now. My mantra, ‘the sum of the parts are at times worth more than the whole”. To the “Auction Professor” as always , Thank You.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge Don. And thank you for featuring my sold listing of the Apple McIntosh SE30. I paid $30 for that item but did not work. It still sold for good money.
I buy and sell a lot of dishes. A lot of the broken or damaged ones you just throw out. But if you have a hard to find pattern or rare piece you can still sell them. Sometimes faster than the perfect ones. Any "imperfect" dishes I've felt were worthwhile to list have sold at asking price.
Greetings Don,thank you's for sowing good will and knowledge ..to your fellow man.woman..many thanks.and blessings...we reap what we sow..your fortune's will be vast..
Wooo! makes me want to go to goodwill clearance bins and buy up the damaged hard goods. While the other customers are like darn, it's damaged but an interesting item. Better leave it behind despite the 50 cent buy cost.
what is my cam Canon EOS Rebel G would cost, pls? I hardly used it and i think its all good. Should I check it with specialist before selling? I bought it for like 500+Ca$ long ago, it comes with a bag that is very nice on its own :-)
Years ago I bought lots of computer equipment. I sold on ebay. I had 50 to 100 of those old IBM PC & XT computers. They never sold very well. I gutted them and sold the parts for more, still not in the hundreds of dollars, more like $30 to $50 at the most for parts. I still have about 30 of the empty cases. I guess I should see if they sell. Yes, I still have a couple three of the old computers left that I used as test beds to test parts.
My man really selling non working gamecubes for $500 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 I’m at a loss for words.I sell them working for $100 without the box.The box looks clean though. Also kinda wished the Guardians of the Galaxy cassette player stayed low key lol I’m still hunting for one in the wild.
The one problem I have had with this on eBay, even if you put broken and spares only. Buyers will claim the item is not working & eBay will make you refund the buyer, I agree that someone can easily have the same item and maybe they have the same item and make a good item out of bad and sell the extra bits as spares. It is the right thing to do, but I have had the problem myself, even with BROKEN And SPARES ONLY in the title, I was made to refund the buyer. Just be aware of what buyers can and will do. Love the video, Don. Thank you. Charles in the UK
If you have 1 day shipping and offer 30 day returns, and get a bogus negative comment, Ebay will remove the negative comment. Accept the return and sell it again. No big deal.

Thanks Don! I've been sitting on Sony Walkmans, Cameras and and good lenses with many filters from an auction for awhile. Time to get listing!
Thanks! I've kept many comics without covers. Nice to find out that they're worth something.
Wow didn't know how valuable broken items can be thanks for the video and information
Thanks for the info, is always very valuable.
Good advice, I've done well with old cameras myself, both working and not. As well as other electronics for parts or not working.

Great content as always! I have had success with bad condition- always provide clear images showing any defects and zero complaints!
Bought a Stomper at a garage sale for 10 cents. I replaced the battery and it worked great. Put it up for auction and got $104 for it.
Yeahhh Rae!
You continue to expand my mind. Thanks.

Literally JUST sold an old Zeiss Ikon Contax camera today! You’ve read my mind! I just listed some old Polaroid, etc. too 😆😊
It’s kind of an a insurance policy to sell as broken in some circumstances
Excellent video, Don! Thanks for the heads up! I’ll definitely keep my eye out for these things from now on!
Oh my word. Again. I am amazed.
