This is a great review. I have a 6'8" MC FLV with JB keel fins. It paddles easy, catches waves easy, surfs nice. It is keeping me in the game at 59.

So the older model didn't have the full length v? So have you also tried the flv and how did it feel different from the older model, or are you still riding your older model? Ta
The older model didn't have the FLV. I'm now just surfing the new one and the FLV has added an extra element of control and speed to the board. So much fun to surf!
How do you size them
Touch bigger than your classic retro-style fish. These are refined, high-performance boards, and really thinned out. Get in touch if you want some specifics!
FLV or Vish?!
The main difference is the FLV is more high performance whereas the Vish is more of a traditional cruising fish.
similarly fast? I know you said that the Vish was the fastest you'd ever been on a surfboard...
The Vish is faster and has more of the skatey feel you would expect from a fish. The FLV is still fast but has more hold and is better in critical sections. They are both epic boards.
