Nice review. Buy used boards. You'll get an even better bang for your buck, even for the more well known brands/shapers. Good for the environment. Good for your bank account 🤙🤙
And with the likes of marketplace it's a goldmine out there locally
Dude check out the tomo slater cymatic. It just gooooes. For us Europeans we shop half price or even cut 2/3 in South Africa….
I’ve been wondering about this board (Cymatic) for a while now… interesting shape.
Come to Brasil!! You can find good surfboards for $400 or less (mine was 100$ second hand, very special board made by Fred Baltazar)
I think youd like the trip!!
Wow nice!!
I got my channel islands one in Spain, it's also second hand and I got it for 240€ with fins and travel bag. Yeah I mean it's so old that they didn't even put the Liters on but it has almost no yellowing and no repairs made in its live, so I am happy 😂😅
But still I would love to go to Brazil one day, and maybe get a little board for my quiver there😅🇧🇷
It's a good deal, my favorite board shape is a round pin single fin under 5 feet waves. Back in 1970 a Gordon and Smith surf shop had a 5'8" round pin single fin for 85.00.
What do you think. How does it compare to the dark water dagger?
Hi kale, would you ever review any JR in the future? I did discoverd JR through your channel, and i ve started surfing his boards. Back in europe they are farly cheap as well. Thank s
Where are they manufactured? Also where are AQSS boards made? Always liked the look of a HENDRX fish...
What size board in the magic carpet hornet would you recommend for an intermediate 5’5 13 year old
hi, hru. why you didn't put traction pad on this board?
This board is listed online at $699 USD. I can get a mayhem for $715 at a local shop.
$699 AUD I believe
What size fins do you use?
Any thoughts on a 2 + 1 set up with some XL MR's or similar?
I reckon it would work!
Check out Gen4.
Funny how the other surfers just seem to sit there and watch you🤙🏽
(And not get out the way?) hahaha. This is probably because I’m only showing my footage, not theirs
What about the good ol wavestorm? If you Can rip, really rip, then you rip in wavestorms.
Nop
Looks like a similar shape to the HS Hypto Krypto. Is it?
Yeah guess so in a way!
Hypto Krypto is a great board, heaps of volume to catch almost anything, Having so much fun on it after stepping down from a 7’6
I got an Aloha Twin D for 500. Put AMTs in, goes amazing.
Just go to an average good shaper if you are an average surfer and get a nice board for less than stock big brands, simple as that.
You must be due to do a new "best board for every day surfer review " ?
So many new models out there 🙈
I’m in design phase 😜 no more testing sorry!
@@KalesBroccoli epic !! Even better. The natural progression of a surfer I think. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with 🙏🏻👍🏻
The board to me doesn't look good under your feet ....... NO chemistry
One of these has popped up on marketplace for half retail price only used 3 times. Might have to give my Hypto Krypto back to my mate and invest in one of these.
