Why I Like this Box Store Plastic for the Cattle Panel Greenhouse

We have had our cattle panel greenhouses for three years now and we had to replace the plastic last summer. The plastic sheeting we used to replace was this Polar Plastic clear reinforced poly plastic sheeting.
It’s reinforced with nylon string between two layers of 6 mil polyethylene in a diamond pattern. It’s resistant to tears and punctures.
This will be the first full season using this product and it’s working well. Cannot guarantee how long it will last. Time will tell.
The rolls are 21 lbs and it’s made in the USA 🇺🇸
We purchased ours at Menards but it’s widely available in the construction department of multiple stores.

Great job! Can I ask why you raised the panels onto a frame instead of anchoring them into the ground? And how high did you raise the frame?
There is a decent amount of spring in these cattle panels, the frame helps hold it secure. Also, raising the frame up and then putting the cattle panel above that gives more interior height. I built something similar but used 2x12 lumber and framed out raised beds then mounted the cattle panel on top of that. This gives me about 7' height in the center so easily tall enough to walk into the tunnel. Hope that helps

Not UV rated this concerns me. How long have you had this cover outdoors on the greenhouse?

I was wondering if it is resistant to UV radiation over time? I sure appreciate the update.
