YES!!! LOVE THIS MOVIE!! ONE OF THE FIRST GIANT MONSTER MOVIES I SAW ON TV on the Navajo Nation! The idea for the movie came from Brent Maddock and SS Wilson, both of them were in the Navy. They were sitting on a large rock in a Nevada Nuclear Test Site, taking notes, and one of them said, "What if there was something under the ground that would never let us off this rock?" And thus TREMORS was born. It was originally titled Land Shark, but it was used in a SNL skit, then it was called Dead Silence, Stillness In The Ground, and Beneath Perfection.
Tremors is a masterpiece and one of the best films ever made, tremors 2 is also good and funny, tremors 3 onwards the quality dipped but I love the first two movies, keep up the good work.
You haven't seen all of Tremors unless you've also seen the short-lived but fun TV series. :) Edit: Lol... I should have watched to the very end before commenting. Y'all know about the series. I highly recommend watching it, it's loads of fun.
One movie that I think you'd get a real kick out of - and I'm pretty sure I recommended it before - is an indie vampire movie from Canada called Suck. NOT "Vampires Suck", which does suck, but just "Suck", which is awesome. It follows a never-was band that is past whatever prime it had, whose fortunes change when one of their members gets turned into a vampire. It has one of the most amazing casts of music industry cameos ever, especially for such a tiny film. Alice Cooper, iggy Pop, Henry Rollins, Alex Lifeson, Moby, and Dimitri Coats. It also has the legendary Malcolm McDowell as the last of the Van Helsings. Specifically, Eddie Van Helsing (one of my favorite character names ever). Dave Foley of the Kids in the Hall is also in it as their sometimes-manager. The whole movie is firmly tongue-in-cheek, while still being a good vampire movie, and the music isn't half bad either.
YEEEESSSS! Tremors is one of my favorite horror films growing up. the cresture was so amazing and i loved how organic they made it especially when it explodes crashed into cement walls and fell down to its death at the end they the interiors and exteriors both were well thought out. this may sound weird but it was a creature beautifully made.
Thank you. I think part of the appeal of Tremors is that it is so accessible for a monster movie, even for non-horror and non-monster fans it is enjoyable. About the bunker defences, I believe the preferred method of countering subterranean Graboids is the implementation of mine fields around your Gumber-bunker. On another note, and with no hidden meaning, you should take "horrible monster tongue" technique lessons from your room-mate, her technique is decidedly superior to yours.
Thanks for getting around to this movie,and she has a great idea about how to continue it,with,as she said,the church of Burt Gummer.Honestly you should make a movie yourself if you come up with ideas that good.If you are interested in seeing something that is sort of like this,meaning a monster movie that is not so violent that younger people couldn’t see it,and which calls to mind the Universal monster movies of the 50s,I recommend Eight-Legged Freaks,although I don’t recall it getting many good reviews if in fact it got any at all.Thanks,have a good day.

Of Kevin Bacon's horror movies I have seen "Stir of Echoes" (1999) is good, and "Hollow Man" (2000) is disappointing. I think you might enjoy his slasher T.V. series "The Following" (2013-15).
You know I'd just started watching the movie called "1408." Maybe you guys should see that movie too. I'd read it in one of Stephen King's stories, so I wanted to see what it looks like in the movie.
