Charlie and Bill were a fantastically underrated rhythm section and especially with some of the recently re-mastered '70's recordings you can really hear more clearly what a great bassist Bill was and how much he and Charlie contributed to the Stones sound..
Just listening to Winning Ugly, perfect bass and drums
Charlie nailed a perfect rimshot every backbeat with that traditional left hand grip.Nobody sounds like Charlie.I love the way he used his rack tom.So musical.
I love the Rolling Stones. But when Charlie Watt says he thinks he do not want to do it anymore it has to be taken with respect. I guess he knows best what he feels and what is good for him. Love Charlie Watts -what a drummer he was !!!!! Our Darling Rolling Stones Drummer -who brought so much music and fun to us all !!!
Haven't seen this in decades . God love you Charlie.
Zep died with Bonzo. The Who died with Keith Moon. Don't go anywhere, Charlie.
very true
Relax. He isn't.
AMEN 🙏❣️😘🌹👍💕
Happy 80 Charlie
Exactly
Goodness This seems unreal. I do not think I can watch a video of new tour. Without ♥️ Charlie ♥️ heartbroke along with millions
🖤🖤🖤 Rest in peace Charlie. Do your concerts in heaven now with John, Elvis, Jim and Ray
Class and sweetness ran of this great musician.
Charlie's playing is really groovy, and he's got a perfect timing! Respect for the man!!!
I love the ring in that snare, and the steady backbeat no matter what the right hand is doing.
Great drummer perfect timing!🍺👍🤛
"The best musician in the Stones is Charlie by a country mile." -- Ginger Baker
Mike Portnoy
tremendous
@@thebrazilianatlantis165 "The best musician"... As it was a competition... Ridiculous.
Perfect timing? Lol, are you deaf? All breaks are out of beat, he is barely there. You are obviously not a musician
A very good friend of mine (which is a musicians teacher) toll me that the rolling stones is a band that is NO COORDINATED BY THE BASS PLAYER, IS COORDINATED BY THE DRUMS PLAYER, the bass is allmost another guitar. Charlie Watts Rocks! And that is the reason WE LOVE HIM SO MUCH!
I love Charlie I always have because his playing is not flashy nor powerful but his time is steady on the pocket and He still has it after all these years!!
The amazing wonderful Charlie Watts. So nice to see Scorsese’s
film with the Charlie shots. The Heart of the Stones❤️
what a player-all in the wrist action-fantastic -and any drummer would be blowing after that -its relentless.RIP Charlie
Love the Charlie cam, awesome
...and THIS is how you play the drums in a rock'n'roll band, kids!
I could watch this man bang those drums all day long. Such finesse yet so powerful!
Charlie gets it done to perfection at every gig !
Loved and missed. Charlie...you were the man!
One of my favourite Stones' songs. Go, Charlie go, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
R.I.P Charlie Watts thank so much for the music and the memories. I'll see you up there in the great gig in the sky
