The Scran Line hey nick, What part of Australia r u in? This may be a personal question and I understand if you can't or don't want to answer but I would love to meet u, I'm in Australia too.
I love passion fruit and I love your channel! We call passion fruit, lilikoi here in Hawaii. A trick I use to remove the seeds when making it into jelly or butter is after food processing it (to expunge the gel skin juices around each seed) is to filter it through a cheesecloth. Just twist and squeeze it all out. It's so delicious. Thank you so much for sharing and I'm looking forward to your next video!
I am so curious about what lilikoi tastes like! I always assumed it tastes the same around the world but here in Aus, it is the sweet and sourest and most tropical strong flavoured fruit. Just amazing! When I am in Indonesia, it is completely different. Mild and just a bit sweet, none of the strong flavour and scent I am accustomed to. So disappointing. Ofcourse they have other fruits that are amazing, snake fruit and mangostein and more than I can mention. What is it like in Hawaii?
@@lisaflower5994 it is very much the same as yours. Its ripeness will determine how sweet yet it will still have that tang of sour. Strong flavors. Certainly not mild. :) I believe I would love your country’s passion fruit, too!
Nick, you would'nt believe it, yesterday I had this flash and I made mango macarons and I filled them with mango buttercream. WOW.....they were delicious....
quick tip, i like to add my food dye into the almond paste as it gives u a better visual on parts of the batter that havent been thoroughly mixed when adding the meringue. You will be able to very clearly observe white streaks in the area.
Mmmm! I have to try making these! never tried the Italian method but they look solid, not hollow, that way! If I may, can I request maybe some tea flavored macarons? preferably thai tea.. but green tea, jasmine, earl grey, etc, are lovely too! enjoy SF! it's beautiful out there!
hey nick, I am a fellow Australian and I was wondering if you would do a meet and greet in Melbourne? I have been watching your channel for years. All of your videos are so satisfying and they make my mouth water
I had passion fruit macaroons before they are my absolute favorite! I love watching you make the macaroons but I’m actually not a big fan of eating them. I find them overwhelmingly sweet
If you ever found yourself in Chicago, I'd love to do a meet-up! I'm too far away from California or Toronto to make it there, but good luck! I hope you meet a lot of us!
i love your meaningful chit chatting, and I would love to be at the meeting up if I am in the state.... what a shame. i just wish you will be in hk someday. :)
They look yummy nick! Thanks again for sharing this amazing recipe would definitely make them! Btw I would love to meet u.. I'm in Sydney so not too far away!
what did you say at the end of the recipe??? 'That's pretty much it??????' You might always say like that when you finish. 8^D I really love your video!!!
in these recipes it says to liquefy the eggs. what would be the difference if they were just used straight away? as some other recipes dont say to liquify them???
I love how much you like making Macarons! I still remember that when in pastry school I use to HATE making them...not because of the cookie itself, but because it takes a bit of practice and "knowing your ingredientes" until you really get them good. Now...I have a challenge for you: As you may know...aquafaba rave has been on youtube a lot. I have talked with several other bakers and there have been amazing discoveries in how to get italian meringue out of it, marshmallows...but nobody seems to have quite tackled the "vegan macaron"....so....there's your challenge...would you dare to try and make a VEGAN macaron?
Watching you make macarons satisfies me so much!!
This comment satisifes me so much! :0) x

macaroon cupcakes!!!
I live in Hawaii but if I didn't I would go!
macaron is bae
why do you only mix a little bit of the meringue into the batter before adding the rest?
its called "introducing " idk what it does though , i only know what its called😊😊
It's to loosen up the mixture so you can easily fold in the remaining egg whites to keep in as much air as possible
