I finally gathered all of the supplies to make macarons (stand mixer, scale, and candy thermometer) and I made these yesterday and they were a complete hit! Following your directions created an absolutely perfect macaron. Thank you for your guidance! P.S. The smores idea is brilliant. It was like eating smores for grown ups.

I did a cinnamon bun flavor macaroon with pecans on top for me exam in culinary school......... you should try that but with the swirl on top 😁 I’d love to see it

Just a suggestion. For the marshmallow part, dust the pan with powdered sugar instead of corn starch. These look absolutely delicious. I can't resist Smore's anything! Also, could you try doing an almond roca inspired macaron!?

hi queen and/or anyone else who can answer, i was wondering if the measurement of the almond meal needs to be dead accurate, dumb question i know of course it needs to be accurate, but i have 145g of almond meal and i dont really feel like getting a whole new bag to make up for only 5g. i was planning on measuring 145g of icing sugar so that its even both ways but im not sure if the 10g loss of almond meal and sugar combined will affect the end product drastically in any way. thanks !!
Do a blueberry, white chocolate recipe. Macaron, or cupcakes or normal cake, or all of them! =D If you want a bit more of a challenge, try making them "healthier," without refined sugars or vegan or something like that. I think it would be a cool, yet simple, flavor combo!
