  • The box jump is a plyometric exercise where you explode off the floor onto a raised platform. Even though it sounds pretty simple and straight forward, box jump technique is important and can help with optimizing energy, and also keep you safe! If you have box jumps in a workout, we want to make sure we are performing them to the best of our capabilities!
    Box jumps are not solely used in crossfit. Many different fitness and sport regimens use box jumps because of their awesome ability to build explosive power. There are several different variations that can be done with a box jump, such as box jump overs, box step ups, Touch N' Go box jumps, along with several others that can be used to build different domains of your fitness.
    In this video we cover 4 different tips that can aid in helping you move efficiently. Plyometrics can be a fun endurance or cardio piece to add to any fitness program!
