Considering this was the first game of the season and most of our starters didn't play during the preseason we looked pretty good on both sides of the ball. Anzelone and Branch were all over the place and Joseph with the interception and Davis played really well. Jamo and Monty had a hell of a game and you have to give the offensive line props for a job well done, and that last drive in over time proved that we will impose our will upon you and there's nothing you can do about it, Fox and Bates were great as well. #OnePride
Saint was really off this game, even on the Monty 21 yard run in OT, ARSB pulls off his block way early. If he gets even a halfway decent block, that’s a TD right then and there. If it was Jamo out there, with the way he blocks, Monty would have been untouched into the end zone.
Arsb talked about it with their podcast and felt he did monty wrong by letting that happen. No excuses, no deflections just "I shoulda kept it pushing". He'll be back

Right lol after stafford already said he thought he threw the ball higher showing he saw kerby and tried to throw over him. He even pantomimes it after the throw.

More like the whole team sucked, the Jamo plays were excellent. The winning drive was great. The Rams outplayed the Lions for most of this game. With seven starters out. Three starters missing from the Ram O-line. Plus their best receiver leaves the game, in the first quarter. I'm still scratching my head, James Houston was a healthy scratch. Tom Kennedy was activated, taking up a roster spot.
@@stephensdygert7600 no they didn’t, pass pro was good enough, plenty of open plays and receivers. Goff was missing passed left and right, had terrible pocket presence and threw an awful pick and nearly lost the game with another dropped one. He individually held this team back.
@@kylegabriel5794 The Rams were missing three starters on their offesive line. Their best receiver leaves the game in the first quarter. Jonah Jackson wasn't even healthy, he was playing center in the first half, then they switched him back to guard, they brought in a third stringer. The Lions tackling was atrocious. Brian Branch missed a simple tackle that enables a guy to gain 65 yards, should of been 5 yards. John Pascal and Derrick Barnes played miserably at the edge position. I'm still scratching my head, Tom Kennedy was activated for this game. James Houston IV was a healthy scratch.
@@stephensdygert7600 some of that isn’t true, branch had some uncharacteristic missed tackles absolutely, but paschal did not play poorly idk what u saw and Barnes rarely played the edge. Simply put it, Goff/stafford was the reason this wasn’t a blowout.
@@kylegabriel5794 John Paschal should be on the practice squad. Barnes is average. They need Houston this week. Any way you look at it . If the Rams would of been healthy. They easily would of blown the Lions out.
The rams were taking away the middle all game. It really exposed goff's limitations. The answer would have been to throw outside the hashes. But goff can only consistently throw over the middle.
Agreed! That's why the Rams got rid of him 🤷🏿♂️.

I feel like this game did a lot of good for our offense. 1st we highlighted Jamo and for him going, which in essence should make him wanna go harder and raise his confidence. 2 it makes other teams have a oh 💩 moment and puts them on notice. Now I don’t think we were over looking ARSB, but they did what to highlight Jamo in game one, the old adage of first impression last. And tbh I wouldn’t care if it was Brock going for 200+ yards a win is a win. I do feel like we need another bigger high point receiver, so teams can’t just double Sam in the red zone.
Goff does not do well when the middle is shut down. See 2023. Gonna be a problem until Ben finds an answer.
