But here is a crazy fact. Night train lane had (68) and his LIONS teammate from 60-65 seasons and his opposite side corner Dick LeBeau had (62) interceptions. That’s insane!!!! Imagine a QB trying to pass on them. Both sides locked down!

Coached 2 HOF players rod woodson who has (71) interceptions and Troy polamalu. Known as one of the greatest defensive coordinator ever to coach in the NFL and the inventor of the zone fire blitz…. yeah I had to look it up. i mean i'm happy he still in the nfl cause it makes this podcast better but he only on the practice squad. this might be it for him.
He is on the practice squad, but given that it's the NFL, he will more than likely see the field at some point this season. If not & his playing career comes to an end, at least he can continue with his career in sports media. He may only be on the practice squad for the Saints, but he is a starter on the Saints' podcast & this aspect of his career is only just beginning.
@@djdanicp I like him on the podcast, I just think it's funny he wants to take jabs at Amon Ra and the Lions given his career in the NFL hasn't been the greatest. He was almost cut by the bears last year. I'm sure he has a bright future in media but he isn't half as good as his brother on the football field and I wouldn't have a problem if he was on the Lions practice squad. He's a quality practice squad player I'm sure. I'm glad he found another home with the Saints
FYI- Detroit and Seattle get nearly the exact same amount of total rain and rainy days over an average year
michigan has great people and so does detroit but man detroit suuuuuuccks as a place to live. some of the most depressing weather, completely flat grids of population, hardly any green space. Idk how they are able to talk it up like it's a good place. now northern and west michigan is a different story. only ever went to Detroit to watch sports or a concert.

Amazing episode. Never knew the stuff about Sherm & Harbaugh....pretty crazy story. Saint.....I took my nephews to training camp this year & u signed both of their jerseys for them & absolutely made their whole year. I really appreciated how you took the time to sign for & interact with so many of your young fans.....especially since it was so hot out & u had just finished going hard in a scrimmage at practice. Whether u realize it or not, doing those little things like that, which may seem insignificant to u, even when u might rather be doing something else, that will help you build the foundation of your legacy in Detroit & will hopefully contribute to a movement to get yourself a statue outside of Ford Field one day many years down the road, long after u do your part to help the Lions win a Super Bowl or two & it is time to retire from the game. Just ask Barry....he was electric on the field but is equally respected in Detroit for all of the lives he personally touched over the years. The combination is what separates a superstar athlete from a legend in the eyes of a fanbase as rabid as the fans of the Detroit Lions.

everything amon ra describing kinda happened to me. i work in arizona heat n i was sweating uncontrollably and long story short my hands locked up and my calves cramped. had heat exhaustion and a ambulance was called. a week later my body starting to feel better. just in time to go see yall whip the cardinals live. go lions
