*This* is why he traded Goff for Stafford. Goff couldn't adjust to what he saw then think on his feet. The Reason he works well in Ben Johnson's offense is Johnson doesn't go "I'll give you options depending on the coverage" he simply tells Goff where to throw in advance. No thinking needed.

7:50 Yeah no kidding. I really wish corners spent much more time training how to tackle since that is their job and most are terrible at it. I'm looking at you Sauce.
forreal. for some of them, its clear they try harder to not tackle than tackle. you can tell some of them deliberately take bad attack angles in order to not be the one who makes the tackle. Its crazy they can get to that level and still not want to tackle.
This is just incredible high level offense, wish the jets could ever have coaching like this. However Kyren Williams is the engine for this offense the month he was out they really struggled
In this case McVay the head coach calls the plays and designs the playbook and the philosophy. Mike LaFleur probably has a lesser role like helping with the weekly game plan for the offense. Why do you think former offensive assistants to McVay went out when given the opportunity? Because they believe they can do the play calling with a similar playbook and philosophy.

I believe this year is Sean Mc Vay best coaching job. What he is doing with a banged up Stafford obviously banged up Kupp and rookies like Nacua and Kyren Williams.. I’m very impressed. And honestly in the NFC outside of the 49ers I don’t think teams wanna play the Rams right now..
On the rams td, it’s more on the box safety than the corner. He is supposed to be outside 2 but inside 1, it’s his responsibility to win inside to bounce the running back out to the corner, not having the corner have to win inside and the safety do nothing. Corners such at tackling but this is more bad run fits. You could say Mcvays use of putting a wide receiver so close to the tackle that it makes the space the safety has to line up in difficult is good scheme, but it’s hard to put that on the corner, he can’t be responsible for the e gap and the edge of the defense that’s impossible. Great vid though
@@travisoshea yep. I guess for a safety if the inline tight end and the number 1 receiver are that close together it makes the place you have to line up in very small
Not really. Y'see Kyle believes in the fullback to have a functional run game that goes into the play-action. Along with many other wide zone style play callers. McVay doesn't believe in that which is why he trots out more 11 personnel more than Kyle does.
I would imagine the Dolphins use motion more than anyone. Obviously it can help a QB read man or zone but also with Miami, I think they like to get Tyreek on the move because it gets him more quickly up to speed when he’s crossing the line of scrimmage. If Tyreek is, say, running half as fast as he can before the corner even has a shot at him then it’s off to the races for Tyreek as I think he hits mid-20s at least on his top end. Kind of like a short Usain Bolt.
@@AlexSmith-rh7mc That is exactly one of the reasons why the Dolphins play so much motion and why so many teams end up playing off man for Tyreek. It's impossible to account for his speed so some defenses end up playing too deep.
@@AreYouFNQRAZIIno, it’s more to help with timing. Tua gets rid of the ball fast and this helps even more. Makes reads easier as well. Also, this fast motion helps because the defence cannot get into checks as easily. When motion occurs n a guy “sets” the D can still check and get set themselves. With the fast motion to the snap this makes it much much harder to do. Yes, it help with guys not getting jammed at LOS but, that’s not why they do it. AND it also helps with getting the matchups you want.
It’s funny to me that I’ve watched so many of your videos that I can tell you were sick when you recorded this. I can hear the sinus congestion. Get better soon. Thanks for the video
Beating the ravens defense and nearly winning the game was so impressive. No offense has truly actually stopped the ravens. Its usually the ravens stopping themselves. But beating up the ravens defense who is as sticky and as talented as any was insane.
3 weeks after here we are, eliminated thanks to the refs and poor RZ effectiveness, an in rebuilt team that was predicted to finish 5-12, man, next season my Rams are going to be deadly scary.
All these NFC west teams look to be very close in talent and coaching. Kyler Murray is talented but doesn’t seem to come through in the big moments. NFC North looks to be close between Green Bay and Detroit. I’m writing Dallas off because Dak always chokes. I think the Rams or the Seahawks have a good chance to dethrone Niners this year but will then have to face Green Bay or Detroit for NFC championship.
