I just watched this again, if I am interpreting correctly the whole build seems integrated so that many components come together to obtain the overall strength while maintaining the light weight. So each coach is a unique I ntegrated build. This might make future renovations more involved which is why one would want a custom build in the first place. Kinda brilliant when you think about the whole integrated process.
Yeah a lot of thought goes into trailers. People that guy old trailers do not realize what they're doing to the integrity of their trailers. The cabinets help add to the strength of the overall structure. It all works together.
I had not seen this before and I liked seeing a trailer made from scratch, especially at more than a foot a minutes (thanks to time lapse). The best part was coming out of the door; almost like the boat in the bottle quandary, will it come out?
Did I just see aluminium with actual plywood (not OSB) on top as the floor?? I appreciate the lack of OSB and particle board in this build. You are certainly picking some better materials compared to the Thor and Forrest River main lines. You lost my interest with fiberglass insulation however. In any case, nice to see a Canadian company putting effort into building a product. It will most likely last longer than the typical throw away campers.
The grey tank is mounted underneath the unit. The black tank is mounted on the floor of the trailer below the toilet. The fresh tank is installed under the front right dinette seat. In all of the new units, the fresh tank is underneath the trailer for 2018 units and moving forward.

watching video makes me want a Taylor coach! very well made
That was fun.
How much of a waiting list do you have? Other words, how long after placing order can you expect delivery?
At this present moment, we have been running around a 2 year lead time.
Is there other insulation options?
No
@@TaylorCoach1967is there a reason you choose fibre glass over say foam?
Are there no roof trusses? Is the roof simply attached to the interior framed walls?
Yes we do a roof truss.
@@TaylorCoach1967 Thanks for the response. Just didn't see it in the vid. :)
