This war took place when I was 9 years old... I am afraid and thinking that the end is near... I will never and ever forget this, when Captain Clifford Nongrum's corpse was brought home I knelt on my knees and cried alot.

That place echos with the stories of our bravehearts..Every Indian must visit the Kargil War Memorial at least once in their lives..I still get goosebumps remembering the stories..So proud of our faujis.. Yeah as an Indian I'm also hype with the news that we won the Kargil War. But looking back that's what the soldiers did to protect our nation and we respect their deeds. Coming back now, it's not all about the war, take your time for a minute or so and contemplate all your memories. It would be really hard if you were the victims' family. You might feel strong that we won for now, but all we need is the little child inside to be joyful and stay happy. Everybody's to be forgotten when the earth wreck up and who knows when. So stop tempting your mind to be violent. You just think over everything and conclude yourself, it's about mankind, us, humans along with nature. Just stay chill buddies. Smile. Help each others, that's why we live for.
This is really was an untold story untill i watched. All the focus of the war was on Drass sector, Kargil, Mushkoh and Batalik.

Bcz the ppl of leh were not affected by war...leh is far away from kargil as much as Kashmir is...the destruction was caused in kargil and drass...locals died,armies from kargil also died,there are still many ppl who are left with scars on their skins due to bombs...this documentary is a bit biased actually

This is service at it's best.....My Father was in Airforce and was part of 1965 and 1971 Wars.....I am greatly honored by being his son and the values of the human life that he had teached over to me...... Salute to these people. These people really are the toughest people on earth fighting a war in such conditions, what they go through and how they triumph is just commendable. War really is terrible, what it puts through the people who are fighting. People who keep singing 'we want war' should go and it themselves, it is not easy to fight a war and the soldiers that die just sinks my heart. I just came here from another video where Pakistani soldiers were rescued by India were talking about how they were just abandoned there by their nation it is just so heart-wrenching, you could see the dejection in their eyes, they are people too, sent on an unnecessary war, just so sad.
