One thing I have always wondered ever since the chimera was added and that I never really found the answer to. Is the chimera a real thing? Like did it actually exist in real life? Even just as a mockup prototype it just feels like a so odd and out of place design for the time period. I have not been able to find the answer even after all these years.
There was only a (wooden iirc) mock up of it. One of the designers actually went on the eugen forums to answer questions, but sadly they do not exist anymore.
I checked the replay again. Still not 100% sure (did very little testing in skirmish but got no usable results there). Maybe units get a trickle of XP by spotting or simply being near enemy units. Since the M35 is only 5pts it needs very, very little actual XP to vet up. That's just a guess though.
When you compare it like that, sure. But US mech before the patch was weaker than US mech after. Plus top (mech) decks got nerfed. Yes, it is still worse than Unspec in the majority of situations. But overall speaking it is in a much better place.
To force them to fire their LAW. They cant fire both at the same time and if they engage infantry first and use their MG, they will not auto switch to their LAW if a vehicle comes into range.
@@RazzmannWG ok for the regular reason so. I usually get finicky and micro every single unit once it engages infantry and then turn the LMG off again. I thought there was some sorta bug where having the LMG active reduces your dpm.
Never clicked so fast for godly Razzman not-a-tank micro
I am thoroughly enjoying the CMW Mech games
Razzman feet-lover confirmed.
Goat of wargame just posted
wdym, Firestarter has not uploaded in weeks

At 24:30, why does the M35 truck at the top of the screen get promoted to Hardened?
Honestly no clue lmao
@@RazzmannWG Very weird, I think I also saw it get promoted once before? How could an unarmed transport that hasn't even been shot at get XP?

@@RazzmannWG Huh, interesting if true. Crazy to be still learning things about this game years after release.
Thanks for checking it out.
US mech sounds like a joke. Especially after the update
US/ NORAD mech are much better after the update, they needed the inf vet the least
@@RazzmannWG Isn't the loose of the veterançy on the bradley impactful tho ?
I mean sure, but they already had pretty good accuracy (esp. on the TOWs). Plus that loss is easily made up by the Bushmaster getting a good rof buff.
@@RazzmannWG
Unspec got better marines/smaw, better bradley.
Mech got inf(and Bradley) downvet and... elite ontos.
Sounds almost fair

Why disable the LMG on Fusiliers?
To force them to fire their LAW. They cant fire both at the same time and if they engage infantry first and use their MG, they will not auto switch to their LAW if a vehicle comes into range.
