Fair review. As others have noted, the whole thing is 52mm in diameter, but actual usual objective lens diameter is more like 40mm, and the magnification is closer to 8x. Quality control isn't great, but if you get a good one, the optics are decent enough. A feature not demonstrated here is that the eyepiece rubber folds back on itself (by design) making it easier to use with glasses or eye protection, which is ideal for my purposes. Worth a purchase on Amazon - you can just send it back if you get a bad one.

How did you manage to test this scope while playing the keyboard and drums ?! Anyway, to be fair £12 for 16x (debatable more like 10x) is an OK buy. You can't expect pin sharp results at this price.
8x magnification. I put it up against 9x mag. it wasnt 9. Clarity was good. For $12 its a great throw in the bag small monocular.

Got mine today, avoid buying this!!! mounting is weak, screw head detached, won't line up with lens properly, weak lens, I'd say 8x at best. At came with free dirt inside the lens, you can't clean the inside of!
Great video although I feel the true magnification is x8 (put it against something like a celestron and see)
I have exactly the same item, but is branded 'Bushnell' - about AUD$27 on Ebay. I also own a pair of Bushnell 10x25 binoculars. Comparing them together and my determination is that the monocular is also 10x magnification and not 16x.

Pepicek Lebl to adjust your monocular zoom you have to use front and rear adjustment parts because this particular model has a dual focus capability. Slowly spin both parts till you will see clear view.
Mine arrived and it’s a rip off, the scope doesn’t slide into the black camera holder thing, I don’t have a tripod in my packet. And they don’t even take good photos
I've just bought one for £5.99 ; delivered (UK) in three days. I'm absolutely delighted with it. It's 10x, feels substantial (but definitely not drop/shock proof) and I wouldn't use it outside in the Scottish rain! OK, so there's some chromatic aberration and distortion around the peripheral view but there's sufficient crystal clear, sharp image to make this a truly bargain at, just under £6 (free p&p). I've bought more expensive, smaller monoculars that were nowhere near as good as this.
The Archeer claims to be 16x, but its literally doing no better than my Tasco 10x. It would be a good joke if it wasnt so sad. Got to return it.

Excelente!!! Comprei dois, pois pretendo fazer associações, nas minhas "criações pardalescas ", para obter um "BINÓCULO" de alto gabarito, com ajuste independente para ambas as vistas. Nas tentativas iniciais, o resultado foi muito bom. ( JET/sempre inventando)

UnBreakable Gaming monocular has "magnification" which is 30× times, but no zoom in and out function. I hope that I answered your question.

Chromatic abberations - world looks like vommit of a rainbow. Spherical abberations bring your perspective to "another level" of geometry. This cheap monoculars are just total crap. After miute of using it you got a headake. It's sad, but reasonably good monoculars are 10x more expensive.
Why does it say night on it ??????? U clearly can’t see it in the day but gotta be honest for that money it’s good . I’d also say once it dried out it perfect , had same problem mine fell into the edge of the river and I still have it now ! Of course high tech ones now record etc but for the simple guy like me who likes seeing nature without a crowed watch just walking Along checking out birds etc it’s sweet
