I thought only I had noticed it.
Thank you for sharing your recipe!👍 So many ungrateful and rude people on the comments. Don't mind them trolls.
Dang some of us would like to say Thank you for your time, effort to show us something good👍👍
can we use other nuts? & how long should these bars last? also can we add prunes or raisins or mixed fruit preserves?
Jessdean Dela Cruz he shouldn’t/answer that question because it depends on how you made it where you store it! If it goes bad because of mistakes you make and you get sick. He will be at fault for giving you this info. So it’s best to not give you that answer
Just google search how long standard bars last but the dryer and clean ingredients less air whipped inside for bacteria should last a while in a dry place and if you vacuumed sealed it it will be even better
Jessdean Dela Cruz I was wondering as well 🤔
Winner of a video, I've been looking for "best canned food for survival" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Banevi Uncomplex Booster - (should be on google have a look )?
It is an awesome one of a kind product for discovering how to make the ultimate survival food minus the normal expense. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my m8 got amazing results with it.
Measureing the way my grandmother did! A little bit of this a little bit of that, and there you have it!
Samantha Bloggins hhh thanks
I loved this! For all the critics, I shall look forward to your perfected version of this...
He did it backwards. You mix dry ingredients first then add wet. And he should have used a bowl mixture for consistency. Also add and stir one ingredient at a time. Did he add salt?
I have no problem eyeballing this recipe. Will definitely try it. Thanks for sharing.
eyeball everything. my kind of cooking/baking.
I was finking how much do we put in at a ykmd
Lol!
Mine too.
Fetlife
These look very tasty
Thank you for sharing.
Also! I am so sick and tired of all of the negativity out there. If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all
It looks like poop
I was just thinking the same thing..
Those who can't handle negatively are merely children..grow up
@@soniadowney7427 You can smell it thru the screen .
Nobody is here to spare your little pathetic feelings so I'm a say it that it looks terrible 😂😂
Thank you so much for sharing! This is just what I need as Pendamic time. No jobs and no income and not enough money to shop groceries for the next weeks and months. This receipt does give me some hopes to live cheaply but still has enough energy to do something.
If you don’t have honey, you can always boil down 1 cup of sugar in 1/2 cup of water to make a simple syrup.
Really? Are things that hard for you now bro? I wish you luck and happines✌ where do you live?
Fasting is free, if you have weight to lose. ✌
I'm so sorry. All workers out of jobs here too.
easy and it looks delicious
I’ve made something similar to this before. I prefer to use chunky/crunchy PB for a bit more texture, and some chopped up dried fruit, (chopped up apricot, peaches, mango, cranberries or even just raisins. But my favorite is currants or blueberries). They are actually quite tasty 😋
NO, anything BUT RAISINS! Yuck!
Can u freeze dried these
Love these. Great idea. Thanks for sharing.
That's a perfect example of measuring by "eyeballin' " it. 😉😊
Nice I'm going to try this..
The music is kool too, makes it epic!
I really enjoyed this video. I may try this at home. They look delicious. Thanks for sharing. Great information. Subscribed to the channel.✌️
A great video, and an interesting one. What I liked the most was that you went at a good pace and showed everything clearly without the usual yakking on that some presenters get into. It's such a sound recipe that leaves it open to try new and different combinations.
Michael Wilcox, Absolutely correct.
Thanks again for the video.
All I have to say is this project you did was very smart an learning I just went to the store an bought the stuff as well I just learned something great job bro
Love it! Looks like a super versatile bar, you could add whatever you wanted. Thanks for sharing!
can you freeze the bars
Watching now and enjoying it ..and a good cook dont measure anything lol goin to try this ty 💕
I think I would toast those oats before adding them in... raw oats are a bit pasty tasting... plus, there are soooooo many things that could be added to that.. craisins, raisins, chopped oven-roasted almonds, roasted shelled sunflower seeds, pistachios, ... the list is nearly endless..
Leslie Gray that’s a great idea. Come up with your own and share. Variety is good.
Lol, we were saying the same thing but the video is a good start.
He made it his way, God damn
You're completely right these energy bars are essentially flapjack. Also maybe add 1-2 mushed bananas if you like bananas
@@pedrowazair6528 Dry chipped bananas, they would go off fast if raw.
Set honey in warm water!!!
Also could nuke the pb a minute first.
you act like no one has ever said nuke instead of microwaving. It’s nuking get it right :D
Roll in sesam seeds so it will not stick! Note: If you don't put honey and peanut butter in it but instead you put in dry dates and dry apricot and don't put in the fridge but roll some tin layers and dehydrated , it will last forever and it's really good🤗
How long will they last at room temperature before they go bad?
I like to roll it in toasted poppy seeds.
You can take it with while hiking in back country. So you have a good nutrition food.
Made these today. They turned out great! Thanks for sharing.
Roll into a Pampered Chef snack bar maker instead of pan then refrigerate...no cutting required and you get perfect portions easy to package
your welcome great job clean fodd thanks for sharing
Those will be perfect for hiking and camping. I am definitely going to try this. Thanks so much for the video!
Let me know how it goes
For no grain use coconut tlour or almond meal. For coconut flour you dont need too much it absorbs and expands alot.
Gwyn Pasterchek instead of the oats?
They look absolutely delicious. I will have to try these.
They look like turds though.. Hmm
Perfect recipe love it
Thanks for sharing i loved the video and them bars look delicious..
Just sat and watched with my son now he wants to try them
Simple and such a good work. I suggest to add raisin and dried fruit, mixed grinded nuts like cashews, peanuts or almonds and plain walnuts would be probably cheaper than pecan nuts.
I will try for my hiking days
Yummy! Can’t wait to try your recipe. Thanks!😘
I will definitely try it. The measurement is important- formulation to work with.
Thank you for this valuable work.
Call it what you want granny calls it a cookie. Lol ! Nice vid
We make no bake cookies almost the same way we also add ground flax...good for the colon....lol
kaPOW
Such a great video, useful too!
Thank you for sharing with us your recipe.
Looks great, I will wrap them in parchment paper and vac seal them.
I did and thank you I've been wanting this for along time thank you from the Pacific northwest hope all is well God bless you and your family
Wow!!! I cant wait to make these. They look delicious.
This so mesmerizing
AN ENJOYABLE WATCH!!! PROPS OVER HERE!!!
Sir excellent receipie 👌👌👌👍👍
First put honey and peanut butter in bowl in warm water bath to help thin. Stir.
Add ground pecans, ground dark chocolate, oats, mix all ingredients together. Put baking paper into baking tray, add mixture, spread.
Place in fridge for 1 hour. Slice into sections.
Makes about 16 good sized bars.
Buying these already made would be at least 4 dollars each.
This was probably..
5 honey
3 oats
4 dark chocolate
4 pecans
4 peanut butter
22 dollars to make versus 32 to buy.
Big difference and fresh. ( if you buy generic could cut price by another few dollars or more.
Just an estimate. Good video. Saved. Thank you.
Awesome,will be trying,thank you.
Add some dates and it's perfect. Great video
Guy simply uploads a nice little recipe video. Everyone watching becomes cooks and critics.
And suddenly you become his attorney
@@mister7417 I'm not getting him out of trouble, so attorney? Wrong choice there buddy.
@@stoicape4370 that's right, you ain't.
Thank you for sharing yummy goodness 👍💪
Great job! Thank you.
thx for showing me how to make the energy bars they will be usefull to
I can't make things like this - they'd be gone in two days! Seriously.
Lol
FREEZE THEM CAN NOT EAT THEM SO FAST:)
Lol
Same here, Haha
Lmao two days 😂
Awesome looking. I'm going to make these. Thanks.
Oughta try crunchy version, should look before leavin' this but oh frickin' well
I relaxed, watched, enjoyed, liked and subscribed :)
These look delish!!!
That they last and can be hauled around is a bonus
Found' Magic Disappearing Yummies! Call Yer Friends!🌈 Thank You! Great Video and Very Pleasant Techno Melody with It!
thx4 sharing.... goody goody... Bars...
Worked great they taste amazing
Samantha Abrahamson really?
how long is the shelter life?
How many calories are in 1?
Great idea!
looks tasty! yum! for camping anywhere.
A recipe/ingredients list would have been helpful. Also, how long will this keep in the ziploc versus FoodSaver bags?
10+ years.
😁
@@Johnconno No chance unless you freeze them and even then I wouldn't go beyond four to six months. The moisture content is too high. But that shouldn't be a huge problem. If you've got the properly stored ingredients, you can bake up a batch any time you like.
These will become a gooey mess if left out of the fridge. Bake them for 30 or 40 minutes at 350°F. I make this also, i use less peanut butter, i add shelled sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, raisins or craisins. After it cools, i pour melted chocolate on it, and spread it thinly.
And chía too
i was wondering about the gooey mess part too. Thanks for finding and passing on the solution to that minor annoyance.
@@serenityrahn5656 you're welcome
@@benjaminbenavidesiglesias52 also hemp seeds
Can i please get the actual recipe
Thank you
Love it
I'd put some almonds in there as well.
@M Lane That is what I did. Find my recipe above. I added ground up almonds too.
i love when someone cooks like me rarely ever get out measuring utinsils
Awesome and yummy 😋 ❤️ thank you so much!👍😃
I love it
Fir those who want, you can also add protiwn powder or meal replacement powder and whatever else you want like flax seed powder, spiralina etc. They are great
Spirulina tastes disgusting.. trace amounts of it is enough to ruin the flavour
Thanks. How long can it last?
Thanks would love these for camping
Looks easy to make and nutritious. I will have to try and make a batch.
Good 'show and tell', a bit rich for me but its down to personal taste. Honey, oats and currants/apples and cinnamon are more my bag. Also partial to peanut butter too.... Thank you for sharing.
Maybe you can give a recipe for you idea. Thanks.
Some dried fruits will be a great addition too.
This makes a good base for what ever you want to put in it, coconut, raisins, dates, sunflower seeds or almond butter in place of peanut butter or whatever
Am I crazy, but isn’t this basically the recipe for “No-Bake Cookies”?
But bars. For men with tribal tatoos and snapbacks.
I disagree. I've never had honey or pecans in no bake cookies and then there was no butter sugar milk etc.
BellaLove It's a little different No Bakes have sugar in them instead of honey. N. Bakes also have milk and butter in them. And some of ingredents are cooked on stove!!!
booooom!!!! awesome vid. im gonna try this!!! thanks
Looks great
Could you please tell me the amount of honey and peanut butter you used? Is it equal amounts of both? The rest would be easy to figure out.
And yes, I did have time to watch the whole video because of “stay at home” rule. Editing is overrated anyway. Thanks. Here’s my survival food lesson for u all. Boxed flavor package noodles “any kind” mixed with a can of tuna. Really salty,so drink water.
I like tuna mac and cheese
@@rachelmilutin7242 .... yes, cheap and easy and tasty
Excellent! Thank you🙏
Very nice recipe, thank you
I would say vacuume pack for longevity!
How long would they last vacume packed?
I call these granola bars who knew they were SURVIVAL bars. I’m going to tell my kids in the morning “Don’t forget your SURVIVAL BARS”. PRO TIP: They melt in the heat so they only survive in cool weather.
Carrow Xhex they can be put in a dehydrator that would make them survival bars. That’s what I do at least 😊
Dehydrated, that is genius...
amazing. I'm definitely doing this. probably put my own spin on it love you for this. definitely earned my sub.
Looks delicious
Awesome video! Thank you so much. Definitely making some today. Do you know what the approximate shelf life is. Looking to make something for my bug out bag.
Hi, if you planning to use only dry ingredients, it will last for long time.
Bruh, these logs are so clean, you don't even need TP...
Seriously? I keep getting diarrhea even after eating these
Looks yummy 😋. Thanks for when we have to really have to go into lockdown 👍🏽
I enjoyed this video. I'll definitely be try it.
those look good enough to make a person want an emergency to happen... ;-)
Well, here we are.
@@Bomber411 yuppp ✌
The end of the world: brought to you by a mad craving for peanut butter bars.
Pumpkin seeds would b yummy with this 💡💡
not one word yet beautiful, look good too
THANK YOU THANK YOU GREAT SIMPLE VIDEO
That would probably taste good. And I'm guessing the reason its called a survival food is cause its high calorie.
for everyone here are a few improvements to this recipe.
1: add wholemeal flour, no matter which, about 3-4 tablespoons full
2: After molding, push the whole thing into the oven at 150 degrees Celsius and with convection for about 25-30 minutes or until the surface turns brown. Depending on the oven, this can sometimes take a while. cuts everything after hollowing it out when it's still warm.
If the mixture is right, you will have drier and more stable energy bars after cooling down, which will not stick your fingers together and which will last significantly longer
👍Terrific. No bake. Thank you. 💞
They look absolutey fabulous, thankyou so much
I got my survival all set and ready, and it goes everywhere I go, it's so convenient.
It's my fat.
😁😁😁😁
Mmmm sunflower seeds and chopped dried fruit would be nice in this
Chia too
Yummy...I immediately started to think of add-ons and substitutions too.
I would add coconut flakes, unsweetened.
As long as there's NO raisins, I'm good.
