also looking thru the view finder when I was half depressing and depressing the shutter button the bottom words kept blinking. Ex: 4" kept blinking and blinking and not taking the photo

What setting would you use for the moon or stars? I tried to take a photo of a planet... the camera would lock focus but then never take the photo. It is very speratic.. and then my arm got tired and the planet ended up looking like a streaking shooting star.
