"Practise makes progress" -- I love that! And love to see you back in the weeks!! It's been so fun to see all the systems you've been trying this year!!❤
A very interesting way to plan in connection with memories and less time-consuming. I would just like to understand in more detail the difference between your weekly and daily to-do list. What's the difference and how do you go about it? I would be very happy if you would explain this briefly. Thanks for sharing! ❤
Love that you are back in the weeks! Love your pages. I am using mines as a self care journal next year. A completely new way of using the weeks in my case, but looking forward to it.
Omg, a mention!! You are so sweet. You were mentioned in my unboxing video I need to edit & upload because you’ve inspired me back into paper. Love your video… don’t tempt me into hobo weeks again!! 😆
Second your vote of @Addicted2Planning as some of the best HbWeeks content out there. I just rewatched all those videos about a month ago. They are GOLD!
I loooove the way the sneaker weeks looks when it's filled up like this, I feel like it wears in in such a lovely way. i always go for the hardcover bc I love the functionality of the weeks clear cover, but the sneaker is so tempting!
I’m hoping you’re using the weeks in 2024 like this and do a setup video as I’m inspired by the way you’re using it now and would like to follow along! Thank you for these chatty videos.
I came across Melanie's videos when I first got a Weeks to use for 2020. SO much of what I still do, going into my 5th year, is because of her. Those videos are amazing! Good idea to go back and rewatch them! There's also a video of yours from February 2021 (I think, or was it 2022?) that was so inspirational for how I figured out how to make the notes pages work for me. (The one where you showed your key.) I'm going into my 3rd year with that system and absolutely LOVE it!
I was trying to work out a new system for my weeks as I wanted that for a running list and appointments but have a A5 Hon for next year as memory planner. Going to try this set up myself (with a couple of tweaks to suit me) in 2024. Thank you for the inspiration!
I already ordered a normal planner but would love to try a hobonichi for the mini journalling and days like you have. The dates might give me a push to journal more often than with a blank one. Thanks for a good reason to grab the hobonichi weeks :)
Have you tried the canon Selphy label stickers? I was really impressed by both the quality and how thin the sticker paper is. There are a couple of different kinds but I use the KC-18IF ones and I’m hooked! I had another suggestion for your multiple journal problem when looking things up. What if you had a “mega index” that had things from different bullet journals and planners? It could list the book it’s in and (optionally) the page so you could look things up on the mega index and just find them wherever they are without any rewriting. Maybe that would be just one more thing to keep up to date though, who knows
I always enjoy and look forward to your videos Lindsey. This has been my first year in a weeks (mega). And I've already got one for next year. I'm in the process of doing some back filling of dailies, now. I had been doing that digitally but decided I wanted it analog. I hope it's actually enough space for the whole year but I did get the little notebooks in case it's not. We'll see.
So excited for this! I'm considering a mega for dailies (since I only need dailies on work days), or I'm thinking about doing a regular weeks and picking up a bunch of the little weeks notebooks and using that for dailies. It kind of appeals to me to be able to take the notebook out and have my current week open, but the all on one seems so nice!
@@lindseyscribbles oh boy lol. I thought you might back fill the cousin since you are using it next year but the weeks is looking great! I like the dot stickers as the tabs for the notes section in the mega!
Your weeks looks beautiful ans very neat too. Do you use bullet journal codes in the daily log? I used to do that and miss doing it now as no longer do daily logging in weeks. X
Hi Lindsey, thanks for sharing this. Next year will be my first time using the weeks. I can’t wait to try it out. Do you think the notte is good quality? Thinking of getting one as well. I already got the vanishing point pen because of you. 😂 Thanks again.
How do you decide where to put things? Daily log, weekly log, or both? Do you have multiple "inboxes"? I like one book for a year but get bored too fast, and I want to begin afresh with a new notebook soon. I tried using a weekly task list, but that only works in extreme cases, where I have to look every day. I lose touch with tasks on a weekly task list. I learned that it was easier with the daily log because I then got to revise and re-evaluate every day, despite the extra migration work that can be a bit much sometimes. Migration is very valuable because it enforces re-evaluation of tasks. I am not that creative myself, but I like the freedom of the daily highlights on the left page in the weekly log. Looks nice too!
I know weeks doesn’t work for me as my main planner- it’s too tall to fit neatly in even my oversized pockets, and I don’t do bags… but you do make me miss it. I’m pretty sure I’ll be using either weeks or Sterling Ink N2 compact for my work planner next year, but at the moment I don’t need to plan as much at work because the type of work I’m doing is consistent enough (for now) that writing things down is usually not time efficient. I’m almost wishing for disruption in my work routine just to use that planner more >_
I did not realize the sneaker weeks could lay so flatーor is it sort of helped by the notte? Did you have to train it a lot? Also, I gather that your work planning is not in a Weeksーor is it simply in your dailies at the back in the memo pages? Thanks for a great video with lots of good info about printing and etc!
I wish Hobos would work for me- the A5 is too big (plus weeklys ON TOP of that), A6 is too small, and just weeklys wouldnt work for me as I write too much. I did try bujo-ing (many times) but the process is frusrating, boring, too flexible, and just doesnt work for my ADHD brain. I'm using the A5 Take A Note planner- its A5 and techically a weekly but the pages are divided by two days per page, so plenty of room to write! My only complaint is the graph is abit too light and I'd prefer a more cream colored paper, otherwise it works and is probably what I'll be using in 2024.
Oh man…I can imagine how much work it was to backfill it all. But I totally agree with you: having that one book for all is worth it ❤

Great to see you in a Hobonichi Weeks again :)

I was just thinking I was missing my passport when I saw the sneak your unboxing 🙈 might be tempted back myself!
I love the idea of the dot stickers on the edge of the pages. Thank you so much for sharing that!!

It is, really. I wanted to go for one this year but I really didn’t like the colors 😅

I like the dot idea for tabs. When I had a bullet journal I would edge the page in washi tape. It worked great but got bulky quick.

Just purchased your rolling weekly printable and excited to get it in my Bujo. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks Donna 💗💗💗
I love your spreads sooo much
I saw a flash of Meow Wolf!! Made me so happy. I found it to be a thoroughly, overwhelmingly, wonderful experience. 🙂
The Weeks is a hard habit to break! 😊

I hope you do move into a weeks, I just got mine and I’m obsessed 😭
Yay for hobonichi! I am dying to see your Cousin. Are you back filling all your planners to pick your 2023 archive?
Sort of! Trying to decide how much is too much 😂 the travelers notebooks are technically my most complete planners of 2023 🙈

Can you tell us what you resize the photos to in Canva for the weeks ?
Came to ask the same- love the sizing
You can size it to whatever height or width you want. So if you want it to fit that invisible column line then just measure and resize the width.
Love the book review stickers/diecuts. Do you hv a link?

Hey, Lindsey! Will the Hobonichi fit inside the Traveler’s Notebook (maybe with only one other insert)?
it will be a little bit shorter, but it will fit! i think i've seen untitled paintings here on youtube do that!
Hi Lindsay ...how do I access your shop ?
Could you tell me what pen are you using for your weeks? Thanks!
It's a Pilot Vanishing Point (also called Pilot Capless) in an extra fine nib.
I wish I could write that small... I have so much on my notes pages cuz my tasks dont fit the weekly layout :(

Elle diary? What is she called?
it was Elle_diary but their page is no longer active it looks like
