Is Fairmont Singapore still worth it? | Review of Deluxe 2 Double Beds Room | 2023 Edition

Greetings, Esteemed Travellers! This is the third fairmont review on this channel. Earlier this year, my family and I stayed at the Deluxe 2 Double Beds room that was comfortable, spacious, and modern. The hardware was good as usual, but the service standards had unexpectedly dropped this year. While it was good that they stopped printing drink vouchers for Accor Silver & above members, the front desk agent did not even tell us how we could redeem the drink vouchers, which after asking, was simply showing the keycard to the restaurants. On the benefits paper, it stated only 1 drink per Accor member (It was usually 2 for my previous stays), but the restaurants allowed us to redeem 2 drinks instead. There could be cost-cutting at this property, especially for Accor loyalists - be warned! Apart from that, it was a pretty good stay.

Review: The Deluxe Room was spacious and well-appointed, with plenty of natural light and beautiful views of the city.
The bathroom was equally impressive, with a large walk-in shower, deep soaking tub, and plenty of high-quality bath amenities. I appreciated the luxurious touches, like the plush bathrobe and slippers, which made me feel pampered and relaxed.
Another standout feature of the Fairmont Singapore is its central location. The hotel is conveniently situated in the heart of the city, with easy access to public transportation, shopping, and dining options. I was able to explore the city with ease and always looked forward to returning to my comfortable and welcoming room at the end of the day.
Overall, I highly recommend the Deluxe Room at Fairmont Singapore for anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay in Singapore. With its spacious and well-appointed rooms, excellent service, and unbeatable location, this hotel is sure to impress even the most discerning travelers.

1:55 the reno was done at end of 2019 and they still haven’t corrected the wrong instructions for the hot water. No wonder a lot of TA and blog reviewers are complaining the hot water button doesn’t work 😂
