    My brother had this.
He changed his diet and reached out to the Lord.
    He lasted over 5yrs.
Thanks for telling it like it is without any sugar coating.
He's not gone, he's just ahead of us.

I have late stage 4 metastasis to the liver. Diagnosed 3 weeks ago. It’s inoperable. I’m turning down my only option of chemo.. the outlook is terrible either way. I don’t want to extend my life if the quality of life is going to be this bad. God bless ❤

My husband died of liver cancer. He didn’t drink or smoke or engage in drug use. Before we even knew, he was stage 4. My greatest regret regarding our behavior after diagnosis was allowing surgeons to estimate life expectancy with and without surgery or treatment. Five years without surgery and ten years with. We agreed to a number of surgeries and treatments. Following chemotherapy, he developed sepsis. The stories get worse and worse so I’ll spare everyone. He died too young at the age of 70. He was full of life, good humor, and we never knew what we could have done better. He was religious about check-ups. That said, the ten years with surgery became 10 months. I pray for everyone and I’m sympathetic to what you’re experiencing.

My dad and grandpa died of liver cancer that spread from the prostate, grandpa did no treatment and made it 2 yrs, dad got treatment and made it about 8...January they gave dad 6-8 months but wanted to try a last hail mary with a double infusion of chemotherapy and immediately went downhill , during his decline we were constantly faced with what was the right thing to do , never had harder decisions in my life but I'm glad I was there for him and glad I spent every day I could with him before he got a terminal diagnosis ...f*ck cancer, such an evil disease

My brother has been diagnosed with liver cancer. He has been the pillar of the family and as medical doctor, he will take care of anyone in the family who falls ill. Now he depends on us to take care of him and it hurts to see him in so much pain. Why does life play such cruel tricks on the lives of good people. He doesn't deserve to be in this condition. No one does.

I have early stage liver cancer at 72 yrs of age. How many years I have is a crap shoot. I had ablation surgery for the lesion I had. I’ve been told life expectancy is probably 2.5 to 5 years. I’m thinking 3 years. Regardless I haven’t been cheated. One thing that gives me some comfort is a UA-cam video called “You Are Here”. It’s by Pursuit of Wonder. It’s a little over 4 minutes long. Some may find it a bit depressing but when you’re faced with the inevitable sooner rather than later, it brings me comfort. It sort of puts life in perspective. Give it a listen and see what you think.

I am 65 years old and was diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer in December, 2022. I’ve had my gall bladder removed, 12 inches of my small intestine removed with the origin tumor, 3 transarterial chemo embolizations, monthly injections of Somatuline Depot and my prognosis is very good. My liver is over 50% occupied with tumors. In the beginning, my liver was greatly enlarged with pain in the upper right quadrant. After the surgeries, procedures and monthly injections my liver has reduced in size and I have zero pain. I do have constant changing bowels, itchy palms and fatigue, but my interventional radiologist confidently says, the liver cancer will likely not take my life. So, never give up hope and seek the professionals that specialize in the type cancer you have. Life is good!

Got diagnosed with colorectal cancer recently. I had a colonoscopy back in 2018 and they found a diverculitis with hemorrhoid. I ignored the blood cuz i thought it was part of diverticulitis and hemorrhoids then fast forward to 2022 i already have a tumor on my colon that spread to my liver. The symptoms started back in 2nd week of May that I suddenly had a hard taking a dump or constipation, nausea and i had a stomach pain. Now im having back pain on my liver and some joint pains not sure if its related to the cancer

I'm very sorry for your daughter's illness.
If she has liver metastasis, only can be treated effectively if they are few and located in part of the liver. If they spread all over the organ they can not be resected.
The fluid will accumulate and her belly will swell. When it happens the doctor will take out the fluid excess from the belly, to relieve her symptoms.

Last week I went to an ultrasound, they found different brightnesses in my liver, next Friday I have to got for a CT scan, they think I have liver cancer. I think they are probably right.
Does it have to be liver cancer, what else could it be, what are the odds that it is liver cancer, I am very unhappy about this, my mom died of colon cancer 12 weeks ago, she was 86, I am her son of 60. My dad also died of cancer at about 85 and my aunty at about 75, I thought at least I had more time.
It also seems that liver cancer cannot be survived for more than about 5 years.
I had hoped that if I got cancer it would be curable. This is bad and too soon, I am not ready to die. Is there anything I can do?
