    Kolkata style egg roll is a very famous street food across India. It is a tasty and a filling snack or meal recipe. In this recipe video, I have tried the kolkata street style egg frankie recipe with simple readily available home ingredients. Egg wraps are so healthy and tasty at the same time. Egg kathi roll has been originated from kolkata and egg frankies are from mumbai. Egg wraps are popular all across the world. But all these 3 recipes are so similar. In egg frankie recipe we use simple roti or chapati meanwhile in egg kathi roll recipe we use layered or laccha paratha.
    How to make egg rolls? The process starts with making the perfect dough for the laccha paratha by adding enough water and kneading for required time and resting. Meanwhile we should start making vegetable stuffing whit carrot, cabbage, capsicum and beans that gives crunchy texture. Sauces and spices enhance the taste and flavor. Then break an egg in the pan, place the cooked laccha paratha on it flip it take out from the pan, spread mayonnaise if needed, stuff egg paratha with vegetable stuffing that we have prepared earlier and roll it with parchment paper or aluminum foil. There you go! The delicious Egg roll is ready to be served.
    Ingredients:
    Dough making :
    Refined flour (Maida) 1 1/2 Cup
    Salt 1/2 Tsp
    Water 1/2 Cup (Approx)
    Oil 2 Tsp
    Stuffing:
    Oil 1 Tbsp
    Onion 1 (Chopped)
    Cabbage 1 Cup (Chopped)
    Carrot 1/2 Cup (Julienne)
    Capsicum 3/4 Cup (Chopped)
    Green chili 1 (Chopped)
    Vinegar 1 Tsp
    Salt
    Pepper powder 1/2 Tsp
    Tomato sauce 1 Tbsp
    Egg 1 or 2 for each paratha
