For sure! I almost didn’t post this because yea I was hyper and dramatic lol but I still didn’t like her and didn’t want her to limit my cousins future. Like I said, there were a lot of other things that happened that were too personal to share here. We all experience a bad relationship or two and that’s ok. But still, happy ending that they broke up and this is just a Storytime about that ☺️
I can understand where your coming from but speaking from a spot where I am like your cousin I feel that Spanish women often times pick on the smallest things. How you speak about your cousin there’s people speaking about “Nelly” in the same light, and complaining about your cousin how you speak about “Nelly”.
Idk how to feel about this one chief, it’s kinda like the hard judgement was made as soon as you saw the girl but idk

I’m a white girl & I grew up right outside of Chicago in northwest Indiana, right next to Gary. I spent some time going to a predominately, hispanic high school & I have many hispanic friends. Your videos give me a familiar comfort. Regardless of our racial difference I understand your stances & attitude on things. I love your videos soo much!

I think this is one of those “you had to be there” stories cos as you’re telling it now I am seeing as if every little thing she did, you blew out of proportion. It’s almost like you were looking to find faults with her. Like the burrito game, the rule is to hit someone with a burrito and you found issue witth the fact that she hit you. 😢I am South African and we don’t have that game this side so I don’t know how hard the burrito is but I’m guessing it’s not that hard and you were extra 😢Hence I’m saying maybe I don’t really get it cos I didn’t experience her.

I was walking with an acquaintance in high school, a fellow white girl. & as we were walking a group of guys came up & she completely changed the way she talked it was actually horrifying & i just started walking away in so much confusion.

Omgggg I can’t stand when people change their accent when speaking to certain people.
Obvs I don't know the ins and outs of the situation, but as a fellow WOC I completely can relate to and support your stance. I feel like some of the other people in this comment section are coming from a bit of a biased perspective, because maybe they've never had to experience the nuances and unique challenges that inherently comes with interracial relationships. Every relationship has a power dynamic, and race can defo contribute towards that. Maybe your cousin did internalise some of his mum's / your aunt's White worship complex - who knows 🤷🏽♀️ Anyway, we've all got unconscious bias that we need to unpack.
Also, I think it's offensive and really unfair for other people to be accusing you of not liking his gf because she's White. You've literally dated White guys before, I'm sure you've have White friends too - I know you're not coming at it from a prejudiced place. I think there were just too many incompatibilities in their relationship, and you sensed from the start that she wasn't the right one for him. Plus, you want to see your cousin succeed in life. Opportunities like what your cousin got rarely come to people like us, and you knew he couldn't afford to let anyone distract him from his path in life 🙏🏽💙
i feel like when u are dating someone from a different race you gotta keep their values in mind, you don't have to agree with them but consideration of those values really goes a long way in showing general respect. A more mature person or even someone with some basic sense would have taken that into consideration when spending time with her bf's family. This of course doesn't seem like the only problem with her though.

I feel pretty sorry for your cousin. Nelly seems like she is pretty immature, and doesn't have an understanding of oversharing or emotional reservation. Basic skills you should learn at that age but I do feel sorry for her too in some ways. Emotional stability is very important and perhaps this might be a wake up call for her.

Kinda glad you brought up the race thing, my girlfriend is Mexican and I’m Black , I speak good Spanish cause I used to study it but it makes me feel really bad that I’m not Hispanic at times. I’m scared of her parents and I keep rejecting their invites for dinner to met me but she’s starting to ask I have to lie each time but it really hurts

Bro if their inviting you just be respectful and kind. Spanish families are usually welcoming as long as your respectful. If I am you find out what her father or mother preferred drink is and maybe bring that bottle of wine or alcohol over. If your underage just be wholesome.
