I totally understand your situation, sounds horrible and a real hard time. I would like to say tho if you took away everything the guy was and everything he put you through, the toxic behaviour is something that if perpetuated sort of makes you worse. Idk. But in your case I understand. Its very sad and I am very sorry

I didn’t condone his toxic traits. After he started pledging, I barely saw him. But when I did, I didn’t like who he was becoming. By the time we broke up, I broke up with a stranger. He was sexist, combined with the ego boost he got from being in a popular frat, it was a recipe for disaster. I would’ve never anticipated him becoming what he did, but looking back is when I could notice that the foundation was there. At the end of the day, the only one responsible for his actions is himself.

I was saying if that wasn't the relationship you were in admitting you were toxic and then being upset someone was toxic back makes the whole thing between you worse. When you add him being a theRAPIST and all the other factors you've spoken about it totally makes sense as to why the relationship you had went that way. I wasn't at all trying to offend just don't think I explained myself well enough.
