The Greist Rotary Buttonhole Attachment for Singer sewing machines (mine is a model 201-2) automatically makes buttonholes without the aid of a computer -- it is a 100% analog device that makes absolutely beautiful buttonholes. It is pretty dummyproof, but it took me (a dummy) a while to figure out how to use it for the first time, so here's a video to fast-track you on your buttonholing journey.
