Hey , i had the same issue and i dont know why that hapens while i dont open/close the roof even for months.I heard a ratling noise during operation (try to open),and then i heard another noise of the hook that came out the hole that is attached in.However from the video we canot visualize why this hapens,and what causes the bracket to bent ,who knows.But anyway your info worths a whole lot and realy saves hours for diagnosis.So thanks a lot and i will try to fix it.
another great vid m8 I've never come across this problem yet but good to know how to fix if it ever happens thanks keep slk vids coming I enjoy them and still loving my slk should maybe organise a r170 meet this summer lol :)

I have the same problem after i run over a wood at the forest road . My roof is hitting the parcel shelf and i'm hopeless .
My vario open and close very slow...checked the hydraulic no leak, and the fluid still on max level
