The first time finger you
When a wild animal confront you, you are told to never turn your back, whilst we also understand that sending 18 year olds to war is effective because they think less about personal survival? All these people are too dumb to realize the guy they are attacking has a 4inch knife in his hand and we are supposed to think they critically assess the situation to the point where they thought they had the right to attack him?😂
They “critically” assess the situation and figured they had a right to assault this guy, but they didn’t realize the guy had a 4 inch knife in his hand? Sounds like a bad case of fafo.😂

How can anyone say this is like Rittenhouse? Rittenhouse turned himself in and told the truth from the beginning, there was no “I don’t remember anything”
Rittenhouse was also attacked first by people with weapons themselves. The two are nothing alike
Rittenhouse was being chased and heard gun fire right behind him, giving him reason to think he was being shot at. This case couldn't be anymore different.
Rittenhouse also didn’t shoot someone that tried to break it up
This guy has 1000% better claim to self-defense than Rittenhouse did. Rittenhouse put himself in the middle of highly emotional chaotic situation with an assault rifle. He was the aggressor.
@@knachos2233I’m sorry, you’re just wrong. Rittenhouse was actively being pursued and attacked by a mob of people who were throwing things, trying to physically assaulting him, and shot rounds off behind him. This guy was just being verbally harassed by a group of kids. Specially when Rittenhouse tried to flee, this guy never did. He stood his ground and killed kids back to back, without ever trying to de-escalate or escape

@@thecooljohn100 A rare instance where the killer and the victims all look like scumbags. He seems like a crazy guy just running after them looking for some phone I guess, but those people escalated it way further than it needed to go. Merely calling someone a child predator is an incitement of violence against them if we're being honest, so the person who said that should also be serving a prison sentence. I feel terrible for the kid who died and anyone that got stabbed that was just trying to defend others, but those weren't a group of innocent kids. They caused that whether people want to admit it or not, you can't predict how people are going to act, so people should learn from watching this be careful who you try to antagonize even if they were in the wrong. It can get you killed.

It's funny how Steve was just (rightfully) saying a week or so ago about how a knife is easily the scariest thing in these situations, because you might not even know it's in play or what's going on until you've already been stabbed 2-3 times. And here we are.
i was out drinking with some friends for a stag-do, a couple dudes approached us looking to fight (they thougt my friend threw something at them) i stepped in front because im pretty big (not a tough guy, just look like one) and after the whole thing chilled out my friends told me one had a knife.
Didnt even realise, i was nose to nose threatening violence to someone with a knife in their hand.
Terrifying stuff
@BlairCorban-lr5wn Jesus man. This reminds me of when I was walking with my friends ten years ago in the nicest neighborhood in a really crummy town. Some guy rode slowly past us on his bike and threatened us. I sort of egged him on until one of my friends told me he was brandishing a gun under his shirt which I did not notice at the time. Very lucky not to have been shot for my own stupidity.
I see what you're saying.
Destiny was responsible for this crime. The guy really was innocent, Destiny pulled some MK-Ultra shit to induce him to do it so he seems more wise and accurate. Same thing with the Palestinian aid truck that happened to be unjustly bombed right after everyone's accusing him of supporting all of Israel's actions.
We have to stop this man.
You mean they thought they were attacking a defenseless person?😂. Let’s push a defenseless Man into the water an slap him in the face instead of calling the cops because he punched a girl? Oh wait, he has a knife run?

I'm not a republican but you're absolutely right. Good work.
I'm a lib and I disagree.
I will say that this case is fairly close to one in which a decent argument _could_ be made for self defense. If the group was a bit more aggressive (advancing towards him, surrounding him, swinging at him, etc.) there would be a decent case the situation could have turned lethal, especially with Miu being in the water and outnumbered.
However, Miu clearly wasn't cornered, nothing about his behavior seems to exhibit fear, and he didn't solely target people moving towards him. Even if someone could have reasonably feared for their life in that situation, that doesn't seem to be the mental state Miu was in, so self-defense is a massive stretch here

why the fk did he even have a knife on him when he approached? Who keeps a knife in their bathing suit while floating down a river in a tube....?
Fisherman.
House was attacked while attempting to flee to safety. Moo had every opportunity to walk away. House ran to the police. Moo tossed the weapon, washed off the blood, changed clothes then tried to sneak past the police. House never lied. Moo never told an accurate story. House teared up when recounting events. Moo teared up when they showed a picture of his dog. House took out someone pointing a gun at him as his final act. Moo reached out to cut up a hundred pound girl in a bikini as his final act. One of these things is not like the other.
Almost perfectly put, but also add in the part where House did not initiate the altercation, while Moo slapped and pushed one of the girls first (which is what caused them to mob him and push him down).
It really is night and day, and only seems similar in the fact that people are so polarized over whether the killer was justified in either case.
I also think Concealed vs Open carry is a big difference in the act itself let alone the aftermath. If you know you have a deadly weapon and nobody else in the situation does and you decide to stir shit and start a fight that is much worse than doing it while open carrying an assault rifle. If this guy openly had an assault rifle out and punched their friend and they responded by pushing, punching, slapping him then I'd think they are suicidal. But here he is the only person who knew their lives were in danger and even then they asked him what he was doing and told him to walk away and he didn't respond and threw the first punch because a teenaged girl yelled at him.

HOWEVER, the fish dies by the mouth and this gent really did everything in his power to jeopardize his case lmao.
So because he was drunk it's not self defence? lol ok
@@lucasgoncalvesdefaria7121the reason they started pushing him and punching him is because he punched one of the girls in the face. Yeah the kids were being assholes. That's what I understand also. I think the first physical provocation was Mr Miu running at one of the boys sitting on his tube and then lunging at his legs. The boys freaked out and started making fun of him. Then a woman who saw what was unfolding came over and remonstrated with Miu and Miu discreetly took his knife out of his pocket and then hit her. The real fucked up thing is that Jean shorts is actively trying to break it up and get stabbed for his de-escalation efforts
That's unfortunately why people are so reluctant to help in these situations.
Why did this guy run at the group of teens? Yea they harassed him in the video but only after he ran towards them. What happened before the video started?
The group was drunk and calling him a ped.
It’s obvious this guy is guilty he is just trying to say the right things but is completely overwhelmed and doesn’t know what to say
From the video, he was being asulted, dont know what happend before could change my mind , but he was sorounded and pushed under water, so kinda leaning on self defense but he fucked up hard core with the lies.
@@Dexyuhe was never pushed underwater??? You’re buying the conservative propaganda so hard here dude.
This guy pulled a knife, stabbed someone multiple times, chased down further victims and never even warned a single person he would stab them if he continued. He just wanted to stab those kids, and this was his moment to do it.
Honestly you people defending him are disgusting people. It’s unbelievable to me that you could defend the man’s actions; if he had stabbed one of the kids maybe you could make the argument, but the chasing down of further victims was unbelievable.
Dont you people me please, i watched the video and comented what i thought, i said if more info came out id change my mind. The fact he stabbed an unarmed 110lb girl is pretty glaring to me.... and that he blatantly lied to interrogators about the events. He knew that wasn't self defense, it was humiliation, frustration, etc. He had every chance to walk away and call the cops, and it would be the teens getting assault charges or at least disorderlies.
Many people would be scared if a bunch of teens started to group up on them and would do their best to act unafraid so the possible attackers don't gain more confidence so i dont think "he could just walk away" is a good enough argument. Though I do agree it's prob a case of explosive anger instead of fear. Fear could also make him hide evidence and lie but so can stupidity.

Knives are so crazy. Multiple people can be mortally wounded before anyone knows there's a weapon involved. At least a gun is loud as fuck so you have a pretty good idea that one is out, and who's shooting it.
Yeah? But then what? Guy stabs maybe 2 people in a group (Unless he's trying to Assassin's Creed the world) but once you know he has a knife, you can do waaaaaay more to subdue him/her.

In my opinion, there’s nothing about this case that show self-defense
Happy to see DGG chat back
5 Elements of Self Defense Law:
1: Avoidance (Duty to retreat states)
2: Imminence (The attack is occurring or immediately going to occur)
3: Innocence (The defendant was not initial or willing aggressor)
4: Proportionality (Force used was proportional to threat faced)
5: Reasonableness (A reasonable and prudent person would conclude risk of death or grievous bodily harm was present)
Lose any one of these and it's not lawful self defense.
Tell that to George Zimmerman
Ok mr defenselli
@@ElTopoL0C0 The Zimmerman case still fits. His defense was that Trayvon approached him and attacked him by getting on top of him and slamming the back of his head against the concrete. It makes sense that he was found not guilty if the jury believed Zimmerman's story.

@illusions8606 you cannot start an altercation and claim self defense. That's not how any of this works.
2:54:55 That was my comment. I was trying to get Destiny to react to Matt Walsh for an hour, and the payoff was amazing!
Yeah it was part goading but the second half of my comment said that the lies didn’t change the outcome.
The kids tried to make it seem like they actually thought Nicolae might be a pedo, instead of admitting they were messing around. I can’t even remember the other lies, but they were all similarly minor and irrelevant.
“Kids being kids” he was thinking about it… he was trying to save his ass while actively thinking of how he fucked up w them kids.

@@mariomario1462ok debate pervert, they were young adults, being young adults.
I could understand (slightly) if people were defending his right to stab the first victim, but the fact that he continued his spree after this and chased down further victims who were fleeing is clearly where self defence ends.
You cannot argue you’re ‘defending yourself’ when you’re advancing on an unarmed woman with the bloody knife you used to stab her friends.
True
yea kinda feels like he was looking foward to something like this.. very odd
Now this was a DGG classic!
We’re so back fr 🥹
I feel like I’ve heard Destiny make opposite arguments in the past. For example, if you Brandjsh a deadly weapon, and someone is coming At you. The situation has all of a sudden escalated. The same way, if you brandjsh a firearm, and someone is not deterred, I would consider that a very potential life threatening altercation. I don’t disagree on the notion of who’s in the right/wrong here, but I certainly don’t understand why he would 180 on something like that just because it happens to fit his argument, oh well. 🎉
It’s rather obvious that the differentiating factor is level of risk.
In Rittenhouse’s situation there was a violent dude reported to be carrying a chain and literally asking people to shoot him, who then rushed Rittenhouse.
This was literally just a bunch of teens who at best were being dickish, there was no reason to brandish the knife. He should’ve just left
Clearly the people in Walsh's comments never took the time to watch the actual footage and most of them probably didnt even watch Walsh's video all the way through
Top selling LGBTQ author btw... 😘
I watched the video. They absolutely had his goggles and were trolling the guy. Both sides all around acted stupid, and then that dumb ass Cohen chick got herself involved and escalated the situation, adjusting herself to be more in his way when he initially turned around to yell at him some more.
Next thing you know she's allegedly punched though "she doesn't know which cheek", and fists start flying until low and behold he's stabbed people including the guy who had that 12" incision, a result of pushing him off causing the knife to tear up.
The cameraman incited most of the aggression trying to make a viral tiktok, that Cohen lady was restarted getting involved in business that wasn't hers, that Dante guy was another regard who made everything physical at least on film, and stabbyboy was regarded for lying (they all lied).
All this case has proven to me is that old guys really really really really hate young adults if they’re drunk, having fun, etc. Not talking about the murderer here, talking about the reactions people have. Is it jealousy I wonder? Drunk people can be annoying, young men can be annoying. Get over it. Don’t go to places frequented by college students. That’s on you if it bothers you so much.
DesTINY with yet another garbage take? How surprising.
There is no comparison to the Rittenhouse case, I have no idea what those morons are on about. In terms of law this is open and shut, dude is guilty. He could have had an argument before all his lies and actions after, but now not so much.
I will say though, if I was on the jury I'd be pushing for nullification because those people were insufferable. It was all fun and games fucking with this guy, pushing him down, calling him names, lying about him and calling him a pedo, etc until the situation turned on them. I have as much sympathy for them as I have for someone who gets mauled after constantly poking a dog.
The kid didn’t deserve to die. That being said, his group of friends seem to absolutely suck & the old dude should have just manned up and left.

Who’s the fat guy? The guy on the stand? He looks like a normal 50 year old guy size.
The uncensored video is wild, you can see the first guy (orange shorts) holding his intestines. Crazy
Genuine question, does alcohol play any role in this? Not for the stabbing but for not remembering what he said or didn't say or not in the state of mind after the attack? Idk if he was drunk but he looked 15 beers deep in the video. If he was drunk i would think the default self preservation tactic would be to lie to try and get out of it.
Given the situation I'd be surprised if you'd need to be drunk to be in such an intensely altered mindstate to lie instinctually or have severe memory issues. Just the mixture of potential guilt and realizing your own life is probably over might be enough to completely fuck your brain for a bit.
when adrenaline kicks in you sober up hardcore. had it happen to me once. adrenaline is one hell of a drug
Regardless, he had more than enough room at various points to show the knife and warn them that he has a deadly weapon to protect himself, his intent wasn't to deter, but to recklessly use the knife
You don't need to announce to your assailants your plans on how to defend yourself beforehand.

That's a horrible idea and would potentially escalate the situation. He should have just backed off when he had the chance.
@Prolute that is not a horrible idea, if someone threatened you with a knife would you attack that dude?

Good job by the teens to record the altercation. If people take one thing away from this- RECORD EVERYTHING. Recordings can be deleted easily but can't be magically created after the fact.
The recording was more damning for the prosecution than the defense.
The most the prosecutions witnesses were contradicted by the video evidence. Miu's statement to police are what likely did the most damage.
