Kenneth, maybe this song ,Ilaw was meant by Pablo when he wrote the lyrics...It finally dawned on me now that they're facing difficult time in their band name since they were constrained not to use it by their previous Company, Now i see why their Asian Pagtatag Concerts were cancelled..it was really a struggle for them and hoping A'Tin will be more understandable to why they have to do the cancelling , as Pablo said in his part, "Why i need to shut off the lights temporarily"..then in Josh' part, He said" Is this the price we have to pay will suddenly be gone?"..Its hard for #SB19 worked hard for their career which is why the success they achieved is an organic road.. They did everything to promote their songs without major support from their company..So sad, Praying things will change now for them. 😢✌️👌👍🎶🎵💚❤️💝🇵🇭🇵🇭🎶
Oh I never even thought of that! You are very right it does have very close meanings to things going on right now! What a beautiful interpretation of the lyrics, if very sad. I am hopeful though, as you are, that things will change! I see the announcements of the concerts being cancelled on Instagram (when it decides the algorithm is ready) and I'm reminded and I'm so very sad for the guys! I hope things will be better for them! I'm rooting for them! Also yes, I'm sure the majority of A'Tin WILL BE (and have been) more understanding of the situation, but it is very sad that there are those few A'Tin that do not seem as supportive! 😟
I feel you man. this song has a universal theme. We get to these stages in life and all we can do is cry for help. But SB19's Pablo's is a lyrical genius!
Oh no! Not to be dramatic here. I'm crying, this song always gets me. 😭😭😭 Appreciated your break down of this song. Did you just fired me? 😂😂😂 Hopefully whatever they are going through right now, it will be over soon. Pablo has a treasure chest full of these gems waiting to be let out.. i don't really know when he wrote it, but this song will always be on my most played list whenever i feel burnt out from work and life.. the way that the words pierced me each time they sing this, cuts through me everytime.. the lyrics are so well versed it can make you relate it in your life, and the rawness of their voices fits like gloves for them.. I hope you could react to nyebe, pablo wrote it during the pandemic when everything was so uncertain of the future.. Also, this seems like very personal to Pablo, having hinted about his battle with depression before they became viral...
Nyebe is already on my list, yep! Thank you for sharing your own experience with the song by the way! I'm glad it can be there in times of burn out! I totally relate to the piercing, as you could see!

I really feel you, coz i also get emotional hearing this song everytime. Knowing their struggles as a group now makes it more painful. I just want to hug and protect them and do something for them.
Absolutely! I was also not aware before I reacted to this that it was an emotional song. Everyone was like: ILAW, ILAW, ILAW! And I was like: I guess it's a good song (which it is), but I really didn't expect it to be an emotional song! So beautiful though

I heard this song a lot of times.. but this is the first time i cried when i watched how it affects you... Anyway .this is my most favorite song from them..
I'm sorry I made you cry! I definitely cry every time I hear it, so be glad I only made your cry the once 😆 It's an amazing song, and I love it dearly!
I think the lyric of this song is also based on their individual experiences. 😢 Pablo geniuosly crafted this song. It is on my top 3 lists from their songs. ❤❤❤
I really try to. In general, with my music taste, I'm someone who often more focuses on the accompaniment within the song than the lyrics themselves -- I'm definitely someone that a beautiful concert piece could bring me to tears just the same as a song like this does. But with a song like this, while the musicality is, of course, important to the overall tone of the song, you have to listen and read and pay attention to the lyrics as best as you can, because while the guys are able to emote the song BEAUTIFULLY and you can get the song's meanings without the subtitles (if you don't speak Tagalog), being able to understand the lyrics takes that experience even higher!
I understand and I can relate to your reaction. I did cry too the first time I heard this song and so with my co-workers when I played this to them. Everybody in our room was quiet that time and when I looked at them, I saw their tears falling. Filipino overseas workers like me will feel the same, not all, but mostly, can relate with the message of the song cause back home, everyone thinks that we are having fun where we are. But the reality is that we are so lonely. Really really lonely.
Aw Julie! Reading this comment really stung me in the heart. I don't know WHERE you are in the world right now, but know that I am so sorry that you feel alone. You or any other Filipino working/living overseas who feels this way! Know that while I don't know you personally, I am sure you are an amazing human being! And I hope that this loneliness you're going through passes quickly, because no one deserves to be alone!🥺 I hope you have a wonderful day!
This is my favorite ballad song of SB19. I love your reaction. Can you react to the live performance of EZ Mil and his sister Raynn singing their song "Storm" at Wish Bus. This song is really good.
We were all where you were when we first heard this song 😢 1Z Entertainment would go broke if we all sent them a bill! 😅 Pablo wrote one hell of a song! 🎉 #SB19 PabloStellJoshJustinKen forever ❤️
It's nice to be in good company! BUT Y'ALL COULD HAVE TOLD ME 🥹😂😂 Oh absolutely. I could see 1Z Entertainment's post person being like: "Another invoice for Pablo. How many this month A million?" He really did! His songwriting is inspiring, and something to aspire to, for sure, for sure! Also I have a question does the order of the members in PabloStellJoshJustinKen matter? Or how do people work out which order to say that? I'm just curious!
@@kennethiain I don’t think the order matters. The order I use is based on who was chosen as leader, then Stell and Josh were next picked. Justin was selected from the online auditions first and Ken was the last in. You’ll never catch me admitting that Pablo is my bias. 😇
@@kennethiain I think the order of names is partly by age, with the exception of putting Pablo first since he's the band leader: Pablo (29) Josh (30) Stell (28) Ken/Felip (26) Justin (25) 😊 But I don't think anyone's super strict about it. I write Pablo's name first, then whoever I remember of the older boys, then I always put Justin last in honor of him being the baby/youngest / "bunso" (in Filipino that's the youngest in a family).
CLEARLY! 🙃 I've added it to my playlist of songs/artists I want to be on my next year's Spotify Wrapped because if it isn't somewhere in at least my top 10 (I know my top 5 is what Spotify USUALLY shows), but if it's not in my top 10, then I haven't embraced the tears enough 😂
Waaaahhh, i' m fired. 😂 Nice reaction Kenneth. While you were crying, i cried too😢 This song always hit me everytime i hear it. I feel emotional. Thank you so much Kennetb ,please react to hanggang sa huli or nyebe another Mahalima's ballad songs. You will like it also and dont forget to bring tissues just in case you cry again😊 see you in your next reaction. God bless you always❤ This is why Pablo is my bias❤😊
You told me to bring tissues for future reactions, thus you're forgiven and reinstated 😂 I don't think those are on my very long list on my spreadsheet (NYEBE might be), but what I will say is can you hold that recommendation for now in the event it's NOT? And then when I've gotten through a few more songs, re-request it? I just don't want to add it to the list and make the list more daunting for my brain -- I don't know where I'm going in terms of my journey with Mahalima in terms of whether I do another ballad next or a solo (I think I might be doing a solo next), or another more upbeat song, y'know?. But I just don't know, so if you don't mind: keep it in your back pocket, and re-request it to me if it's not on my spreadsheet and if I don't get to it in a little while! But thank you! Pablo is definitely shining to me right now! But they're all worth the appreciation and love! Thank you for watching!
@@kennethiain Yaaaayyy!!! I am forgiven and reinstated! Lol. 😂😂😂 It's ok Kenneth if your list is full, as long as there is some songs of our Mahalima in your list, No worries😊😊😊 i will re request it again next time. That's good if you do solo of them or you like up beat songs. We know all their songs/ almost all mahalima's songs have a lesson to be learned, a deep meaning that will make you think. I love them all .Pablo, Ken, Stell, Josh, and Justin. They all shine in their own way. Thank you again Kenneth for your nice reactions♥️♥️♥️ A'tin loves you! See you again on your next reaction. God bless!🙏
Thank you for watching! If you're interested: I do have a playlist of all my Mahalima reactions thus far! But no pressure, of course, just letting you know!
Thank you for the comment. I understand I pause a lot, but I'd rather pause and talk if a thought is longer, than not pause and talk over the video and miss things
The new listeners of the Mahalima can really relate to their songs. Let their songs remind us we can find strength from others and those who hate or say not good things should serve as a catalyst for us to Go forward with a positive attitude.
yes, justin's voice is so good, it's just the diction/enunciation (in english lyrics) usually distracts me, but all in all I love his good smooth voice + his facial expressions when he sings! Can't wait for his solo songs. Next to Ken, Justin's voice is my next fave :) But of course as a group, men.... perfection!
Justin's voice is so good! I'm still really unsure about voices in general, except Stell, Pablo and Ken. Ken when he uses his lower tone (his higher registers are beautiful), but his lower tone sends me like: THIS IS KEN, YOU KNOW THIS. Then with Stell and Pablo: Stell you can guarantee most of the higher notes are him because of his soprano-like range, and Pablo you can tell because he has this amazing grit across his range and I will probably talk about it in every video. But it's so nice to hear Pablo's voice. Of course all the members have lovely voices, but I'm specifically talking about Pablo here. Josh's and Justin's voices I haven't got pinned down at all yet. In this reaction, with Justin for instance, I thought his part was Stell's because his voice sounded like Stell's in the lyric video. But then in the live version it was like: oh wow, it was Justin. And I was pleasantly surprised. I think his solo songs are going to be a great chance for Justin to show off who he is, and who he is vocally, which I think is really important, because I'd hate for him to be overlooked by A'Tin or anyone!
@@kennethiain I'm also bearly new A'tin, and I used to having a hard time finding Justin's voice but I can see now that Justin has a very good blending voice when they are all together. This song shows more of Justin's, with their song Liham, it's shows more of Josh's voice. BTW, Liham is my fave ballad from them for me that song is perfect. :) Maybe you can also react on their live version of Liham. :) I love watching your reactions, as a new fan myself (September) it's like we're learning more of them together.
Not only can I! But I think that it is already on my spreadsheet of songs! I think! Because another lovely A'Tin recommended it to me. I will check. But I am 90% sure!
Liham (is it pronounced like Lee-ham? I'm just trying to make sure I'm pronouncing it as close as I can from the get-go) , but I think Liham is on my spreadsheet to react to! I will get to it! There is so much music and things I want to see!
@@kennethiain yes, LEE-ham, accent on the first syllable. "LIHAM" means letter, and this song is like a love letter to the one you love. The group has said that it can also be interpreted as their love letter to their fans, A'tin.
Pablo is always into a song that feeling is,genuine coz 99 percent of their songs he compose and produce moslty of it

ILAW means light. There’s also different meaning depends on how you interpret it.
New subs here from Switzerland❤ thank you again😊looking forward for your next rv to my fav group SB19😊❤
Hello to you in Switzerland!
I really love how you listen to the words and take them to heart. You go deep and I truly appreciate that❤
I really try to.
And I hope that this loneliness you're going through passes quickly, because no one deserves to be alone!🥺 I hope you have a wonderful day!
same feels 😭
❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for your support mahalima ❤❤❤
💙💙💙💙💙
I was crying and then you say "you're all fired" 😂😂😂
The Pagtatag EP is truly a roller coaster of emotions I am niw happily bipolar 😅
FIRED 😡😆😆😆😆 (KIDDING). I just went into record, NOT KNOWING what I was coming into, and I was not prepared emotionally baha! But I'm glad!
This is my favorite ballad song of SB19. I love your reaction. Can you react to the live performance of EZ Mil and his sister Raynn singing their song "Storm" at Wish Bus. This song is really good.
I can't promise, but maybe some time in the future!
Please remember “Mahalima” and Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, Justin.
I did!
@@kennethiain I think the order of names is partly by age, with the exception of putting Pablo first since he's the band leader:
Pablo (29)
Josh (30)
Stell (28)
Ken/Felip (26)
Justin (25)
😊
But I don't think anyone's super strict about it. I write Pablo's name first, then whoever I remember of the older boys, then I always put Justin last in honor of him being the baby/youngest / "bunso" (in Filipino that's the youngest in a family).
YOU JUST DID 🙃😂 Haha thank you though MariaLuz!
I got it, I got it! I like that! Thank you!
Painfully beautiful isn’t it 😭💙
So, so beautiful! I can see why everyone wanted me to hear this! Stunning! Heartbreaking. BUT STUNNING!
@@kennethiain ilaw was my top played song for my Spotify wrap this year 😅 clearly I love the pain lol
Amazing live vocals!!!!Wow!!!👍👍👍💖💖💖❤️❤️❤️👌👌👌
They are SO GOOD! In the future, I say heck studio recordings, JUST DO EVERYTHING LIVE haha! They're SO GOOD!
Thank you so much😢😊
Thank you for watching!
Been busy so I only got the chance to watch ur RV today and u made me cry again😢
No worries! I appreciate you taking the time! WE'RE ALL BILLING PABLO AND THE GUYS, SO IT'S FINE TO CRY. We still need to work out a per tear cost 🙃😉😆
God bless you always❤
This is why Pablo is my bias❤😊
God bless!🙏
DETERMINADO by PABLO please
Thank you for the RV to our#MAHALIMA 💙💙💙💙💙new subs here ❤
Thank you for watching! If you're interested: I do have a playlist of all my Mahalima reactions thus far! But no pressure, of course, just letting you know!
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Pausing too much!!
Thank you for the comment. I understand I pause a lot, but I'd rather pause and talk if a thought is longer, than not pause and talk over the video and miss things
Please react also to their live performance of their song Liham 🥹🖤🫶
On my list
hugssssss ♥
Thanks for this❤❤❤
check also the juan podcast with sb19
Already on my list!
Ilaw means lights
Thank you. I did think that's what it was just from the syntax in the English subtitles!
Its also read as "ee-l-ow (ow like when you hurt )"
The new listeners of the Mahalima can really relate to their songs. Let their songs remind us we can find strength from others and those who hate or say not good things should serve as a catalyst for us to Go forward with a positive attitude.
@@imdreamingofawhite Thank you! I will do my best to remember pronunciations! I do really try, I promise!
@@dundeecroc2 Absolutely!
New subs hre .. ,😍
😢😢❤❤
yes, justin's voice is so good, it's just the diction/enunciation (in english lyrics) usually distracts me, but all in all I love his good smooth voice + his facial expressions when he sings!
@@mc_galactic07 Liham is on my list, so I am looking forward to that! EEEEEE It's great to be on this journey with A'Tin, and New A'TIN \o/
@@kennethiain will definitely wait for it!! Thanks Kenneth!! 🥰
I love Sb 19 and Alamat, could you pls react also to alamat's song Dagundong thank you..
I'm not currently taking recommendations! But maybe one day!
Can you check out the unreleased song titled, "???", composed and sung by Pablo? It also has english subs.
Not only can I! But I think that it is already on my spreadsheet of songs! I think! Because another lovely A'Tin recommended it to me. I will check. But I am 90% sure!
try to check their MAPA ..
Hi, new subscriber here. Try also reacting to their song, Nyebe. It's an underrated song, but one of the best masterpieces Pablo created.
Already on my list!
Liham is good too😩❤️
Liham (is it pronounced like Lee-ham? I'm just trying to make sure I'm pronouncing it as close as I can from the get-go) , but I think Liham is on my spreadsheet to react to! I will get to it! There is so much music and things I want to see!
@@kennethiain yes, LEE-ham, accent on the first syllable. "LIHAM" means letter, and this song is like a love letter to the one you love. The group has said that it can also be interpreted as their love letter to their fans, A'tin.
Thank you! Appreciate it! I will do my best to remember the pronunciation too!
Dont wacht ??? Pablo unreleased song❤❤
I already watched it! And it's already on my channel
I had to speed it up a little bit coz you talk quite slow.
Thank you for watching. If I talk too slow, I apologise. I can't do anything about that. Have a nice day!
