It goes to show that academic intelligence is not the be all and end all! Einstein didn't finish his higher education. Josh is an epitome of a very intelligent human being. He knows what he wants and where he is heading. No need to step on others while you're ascending to success. He is a monster while spitting bars because you need the confidence but he is obviously humble and kind. These day and age we have less and less positive influence for our youth, SB19 is definitely one of those rare gems. Humility, a kind soul, positive confidence and emense talent is the new sexy!

Josh's maturity level came at a very early age.Perhaps, it's because of the hardships he encountered as a child.The family experience he had was really odd but luckily he is gifted with a high emotional and intelligence level that he surpassed misery and poverty.But what really impresses me is his very positive outlook in life in the midst of the negative happenings that had beset his childhood and his firmness to accomplish his goals .Josh, you have an exemplary character that our youth should emulate.How I wish I could have a son like you.Kudos, to you "son".

I always think that Josh is the most articulate with the SB19 Members despite with him not attending formal school. He does sound like he’s been living in the US and I so admire this man. He’s very intelligent and very sexy. More power Josh, you’re so amazing.

I am always in awe listening/watching Josh during interviews, how he answers/handles each question... He is naturally smart and articulate and just so spontaneous... he can speak more comprehensively and with substance than some of those who actually got a diploma....

Josh Cullen is admirable person, despite of struggles and hardships experienced since young still he chose to be better. It only shows if you have a dream and goal even you are coming from less privilege family, yet you can still have a better and good life if you're working on it and keep yourself to be better. i like Josh mindset, and as a person. He's a good son and brother.. We don't have a choice if we are born being poor, but it's our fault if we remain the same without trying our best to remove ourself from that situation..

Wow, Josh is so articulate. Galing and substance and mag English. He studied until grade 4 before due to financial difficulty. But he is intelligent and with honors during those times. Once he became financial better. He studied online to finish his high school studies. And continues learning with finance and others. He is so multi talented and hard working.

Honestly, his ultimate goal is really ambitious, most people will not take that seriously even I, if I heard it before, I would really think he's crazy for believing that he could do that but now, knowing him, knowing SB19, I wholeheartedly believe they can do that.

Josh is so admirable and such a revelation. It's so nice to see artists who are humble and sincere and down to earth. The interaction between you and Josh, I notice that Josh is very respectful and so articulate. I'm so glad that the Philippines has produced a PPop band like SB19. They don't have any scandals and intrigues or vices attached to them. They just work very hard, have a good work ethic and so grounded in who they are. And despite the fame, so very relatable. My bias wrecker!! Proud isn't enough to describe how I feel about this admirable and talented young man. The amount of hurdles he has to overcome is enough to break a strong willed person. Not only did he overcome those obstacles, he came out of it a stronger and a better person.

I'm not a BBQ but I love all the guys, and I always feel how authentic Josh is.. when he's speaking in Tagalog, it really shows him as very natural and very true and still the same guy you can just hang out with.. also him being protective of the whole group, his brothers, I really love him for that.. 😊❤

I really admire Josh for having that kind of mindset.. at a young age, he was really determined to achieve the things he wanted despite of his financial constraints as well as lack of formal education as he only reached 3rd grade and continued his studies in the Alternative Learning System (ALS-a system offered to out of school youth).. and his struggles in life helped him to be a smart guy, as can be gauged from the way he answers questions.. he is an ALS grad but if you don't know his background, you might think that he is a college grad.. Josh is trully an inspiration to many... i hope you can also interview Pablo so we be able to know how he can compose a song for just few.minutes or so😊

While English is an official language of the PH, a lot of people may not be as comfortable using it for prolonged periods, yes writing may be OK but having a conversation with native English speakers can be tough for some. Sb19 members, I do remember, will joke about having a limited time when they can speak in English - its their humble and funny way to set expectations . But for Josh who only finished grade 3 from a formal school and then took an accelerated program for a high school equivalency to be this smart and articulate - man, totally a genius! I love love this Vampire!

Thank you Waleska and Efra for this interview. It was wonderful and telling of Josh' as a person and an artist. We pretty much know about his story but in this interview you delved more on his artistic growth and Josh was able to communicate that very well. And listening to his journey, he is such an inspiration of somebody who pretty much made something out of nothing because he was very observant in the things around him. Yeah, who would have thought that his inspiration would come from video games? I can only wish Josh well in pursuing his art and pioneering something we might not have a name yet at this time...keep challenging yourself, Josh.
