The Kooks Catted H-Pipe for your BOSS Mustang is a great addition when installed Long Tube Headers. With both the catted H-Pipe and Long Tube Headers you can expect more horsepower and torque gains especially with an added tune. www.americanmuscle.com/kooks-c...
Better Exhaust Flow. If you have a Boss Mustang and want to use the Kooks Long Tube Headers, but want to keep the side exit exhaust pipes, this Kooks Catted H-Pipe is what you need to accomplish that goal. Because you have to change your midpipe to a shorty when you install long tube headers. With the long tube headers, this H-pipe and a tune, you can expect power gains of somewhere around 23 horsepower and 26 lb.-ft. of torque. Because each pipe is unbaffled and there are two high-flow race cats in this setup, you get a nice deep exhaust note. You can install this catted H-pipe from Kooks on all 2012 to 2013 Ford Mustang Boss models, if they also have the Kooks long tube headers. Durable Quality. This entire H-pipe is made of 304 stainless steel tubing, which measures 3 inches to 2.75 inches in diameter for a step down. Mandrel bends maintain smooth interior surfaces, promoting quick exhaust flow. OEM-Like Fitment. Because this H-pipe fits essentially like the stock setup, connecting perfectly to the catback, you don't need to make major modifications. You will need a tune when installing this H-pipe and the long tube headers, not only to take advantage of the improved exhaust flow, but also to turn off the O2 sensors so you're not dealing with a check engine light. Since you must remove several major components on your Boss to install the long tube headers and the H-pipe, this is a difficult installation job, so it might be best to turn this over to a shop. Plan on it taking an entire day, if you do it yourself.

+Alex Gorell I have to agree with you there! Longtubes were definitely my favorite and most memorable mod on my '14 Coyote. I wouldn't have it any other way. - Will

Amazing sound. I’m an H pipe fan. But you’re basically paying a pretty penny for sound alone as the power gains are pretty minimal.

Thank God they finally switched to VMP for tuning! They've been needing a competent tuning solution for as long as I can remember.

+Nathan Duke The guys over at VMP are such sick tuners that we had to bring them in! We do have a few different options for tuners now to cater to everyone! - Will

Are the side pipe restrictors off in this video? Also what size are the Long tubes? 1 7/8 or 1 3/4?

+Michael Garcia The clip is of the wheels basically at the top end already. The rear wheels are just moving too quickly for you to see the spokes. Look at the fronts for the way they look in resting position.

+Michael Garcia They're definitely moving Mike! The clip is taking at the top end of the pull and they are spinning almost too fast to tell. Look at the glare ;) - Will
