Ya see…this is why I need words to be spelt to me. My friends taught me “tá ligado” but I thought it was one word spelt “telegado” and I also thought “vem cá” was “venka”

To better understand spoken Portuguese, try watching videos with subtitles to reinforce your comprehension while listening. Mimic phrases aloud to enhance pronunciation and fluency. Just keep practicing, and you'll see improvement over time!

I really liked this short lesson - it’s what I’m really interested in. (Learning to speak like a carioca) you should do more of these…even if it’s basic everyday phrases but teach it in a way how cariocas would normally speak…not what the text book teaches us. Either way, your delivery was good….perhaps you should start your own language channel

"Qual foi?" Qual foi foi ontem, é qual vai ser?" 😂😂😂 It's like a "Wasup?" "Wasup WAS yesterday, the thing is WHATisGoing!" 😂😂😂 It's just a joke with the past verb Foi/Was.

Só não usa gíria irado. Estava falando com minha miga e eu disse meu cu dói (pq malhei)... Bem.. aprendi rapidamente o significado da palavra 😂😂😂
Usei literalmente quando eu quis dizer que minha bunda doeu 😂
Mas minha miga riu muito e eu aprendi então 🤷🏻‍♂️😂
