I was interested in the design. 3.3 D test driven. Wow, you have to test drive the vehicle if you're even a little bit interested in the car. actually thought of a BMW X3, but now it will be the CX60 3.3 254 AWD

I have a BMW X3 with the 3litre diesel, this Mazda will have to be good to beat the BMW,it’s very quick and the fuel consumption is miserly, mine has done 130,000 miles so it’s proven itself over the time I’ve had it,time will tell how good this Mazda engine is,until it has I will stick with what I’ve got,I’ve seen these BM engines do over 300,000 miles let’s see if the Mazda can beat that,if it can I’m interested.

Bros in the comments are comparing BMW and Mazda. I'm not gonna be mean so I'm gonna say this. If you want a car that will go unnecessarily fast then yes you can go ahead and buy a BMW that's double the price of the Mazda with the same specs. On the other hand if you want a car with proven quality, reliability and a car that will last longer than you then just go ahead and buy the Mazda.

I got my cx60 2024 model (3.3L e-skyactiv G version) last week here in Dubai UAE. So far I’m extremely happy with the car. The transmission is so smooth, absolutely nothing abnormal noted so far. The car is very comfortable and the engine noise is just amazing! Face recognition and safety e features (lane assistance and dynamic cruze control) are some of the high technology features in this car in my view. I’m wondering the issues listed here doesn’t apply to my model (ps: mine is the mild hybrid version).

As kia and Hyundai are dropping their turbo diesels, Mazda is the only sensible option.

Definitely, we need a new Mazda 6 with that engine, and we also need to add a gasoline I6. I think that would be a great success for Mazda! 😁🦉

A new Mazda 6 with this engine and, perhaps, the looks they showed of the concepts a few years ago, would be an absolutely amazing car.

We bought a CX-60, and it has been a terrible experience. We’ve had problems every day. In just six months, we’ve had to bring it in for recalls and software resets five times. The value has already dropped by $10,000. Please don’t buy the CX-60. My wife spoke to the General Sales Manager, Robert, Mt Gravatt but there was no resolution. He was polite, but nothing was accomplished.

mazda has a very good reliability rating. It's a big 3.3 engine with modest hp (254hp), so it's a very relaxed engine and it should be reliable. As for the transmission, Mazda limits the power in the first 2 gears which is why 0-100km/h is in 7.4s according to Mazda (7s in reality).

@@davemathieson7565 I've read your comments on the Mazda forum and you are the only one that constantly complains about the car. Maybe you are unlucky and got a bad car, but that doesn't mean CX-60 is a bad car or is as bad as you say. Only a few people have had issues with the car.

@@77arceus not when you compare with EV's but I remember when big cars were considered heavy at 1500kgs.. some manufacturers care, some don't, I wish Mazda did.. It's not just because of the move to SUVs, the peugeot 3008 is like 1350kgs, a couple hundred less than the 2WD CX5. They just make weird choices, supposedly putting the driving experience first yet they didn't give us the option of the 2.5 turbo unless you go the heavy luxury model, then the move to RWD but again only in a heavy model.

let me guess, you work for a competitor car manufacturer dealer. You lie because Mazda makes better car than ......(insert car manufacturer). CX-60 is very well built car, with good interior quality (above VW, Ford, etc) As for the problems, CX-60 has some small problems like any new car has in the first year of production. Most of those problems have already been fixed.

@@davemathieson7565 What problems did you had? If you really are a CX-60 owner. As far as i know, there were a few early models that had some shock-absorber problems that were fixed and there are reports of small problems for a few limited cars. But nothing that makes the car undrivable.
