I just started watching your videos, and I think you do a great job. I have a 2011 Dyna Superglide I'm dying to get riding again, but I broke my arm near the shoulder and I'll be healing a bit more before riding again. I've had several people watch your videos who tell me you and I could be twins. I'll take that as a compliment. :) I agree completely that many roads need a separate speed limit for motorcycles. I've ridden pretty much all over the country, and it seems the better the road is for bikes, the lower the speed limit is. Keep up the good work.
Reminds ne of when I bought aused ford supercrew cab back in 2015. Someone had hung some dazzly thing on the rear view mirror that hung down. It looked cool, but it obstructed vision in city driving where I live, so I took it down. If your fancy stuff interferes with your bike or four wheeler take it off
Hi Doc. I’am from Southern Illinois my older bike a 1993 Softail Custom bought new, and I have the fringe on my levers but I haven’t had anyone complain yet. Maybe mine aren’t doing it yet or maybe on that persons bike there is an adjustment for the light switch or their switch is a little worn out. My other bike that I bought new is a 2016 Ultra Limited. Thanks for the tip Doc!
Hey Doc is that a 1981 FLH Heritage Edition? I had one when I was 16, it had the AMF on the tanks. I just found it again at Black Diamond Harley-Davidson in Marion Illinois in their museum. Ironically it was also a Kentucky bike!!
Duck & I was in a rain storm we stoped to get plastic bags to cover gear on the sissy bar .Well down the road air got under Ducks plastic bag and blew it up.It looked like a big condom.
I wanna be great like Elvis without the tassels Hire eight body guards that love to beat up assholes Sign a couple autographs, so I can eat my meals for free (I'll have the quesadilla, haha!)😂
The rider likes it when the car driver actually stops at the stop sign and doesn't just pull right out in front of him because the flashing headlight on the motorcycle forces him to take a second to figure out what is flashing. And that is the second you need to get through the intersection safely without him pulling out into you. Works every time. You can actually see them look twice. Perfect. I also installed Hyper Lites on the rear that flash brilliantly when you apply the brakes. Both of these items where added of course after I learned the hard way.
@@bodeine454 hyperlites.com/ I use the combination Brake/Running lights, took maybe an hour to install or remove. They are programmable and were $100.00 US - worth every penny! I placed them just under the bottom edge of my Ultra's top box, one at each side and they really work well. Good for my piece of mind as well. I purchased one set and have kept it since new. I've installed that same set on my '02 Nomad, GL1800, '09 Kawi Voyager and two Harley Ultras so far. It continues to work perfectly today

I wonder what the fringe or “get-back” whip does on the clutch side?
If large and long enough, disengage clutch to slip. ~ Doc
That’s a nice ride you’re sitting on doc. Let me have it for my birthday. I promise I won’t put fringe on it.

Nobody likes the flashing headlight, nobody.

@@mrvoyagerm I wondered what those were called for the brake light, are they expensive or complicated to install?
