I've only run in one race in my life, a 5k. The people "running" it had the participants divide themselves into their estimated time slots. Ex. I chose to run in the 8 min/mile section. Why don't more of your race directors do this? I personally would feel guilty slowing down faster runners like you, as I'm sure most other racers feel the same way, that they're just in the way. I imagine it would also feel demoralizing to get passed by other people the entire time. Most importantly, for the elite athletes such as yourself competing for course records, podium spots, and prize money, this problem really needs to be addressed!
Love Whiteface Mt. Very fun climbing it.👍👍👍👍👍👍
I've never been on any of the hiking trails on Whiteface. Only the road and ski slopes.
@@runningraw I just went up the ski areas. A whole lot of scaling
Dude, heal up and get back at it👍👍👍👍
Sorry about your leg, Tim. Sounds insanely painful. Wishing you a speedy recovery!
It's still pretty sensitive a few weeks out from the fall.
Loved the race recap. Congrats again!
Thank you :D
Fun Fact: 1:51 - 2:51 was actually recorded with Tim walking down the stairs while talking in reverse.
You found me out! ;)
Sorry for pissing on your wheel but I really had to go😂😂😂😂😂😂.
Ha!

Many of the bigger races to have 'wave starts', and often have an 'elite' wave. But most do not, and end up being a free-for-all.
Dix Mt.
I've never run Dix. It's on my list.
So were you 1st place in the masters? I didn’t quite get that. Was it more fun than Mt Ashland?
Yes, I was the first person over the age of 25 :D
Mt. Ashland is a lot more fun.
Who are you? Is there a you ?
I'm a process :)
