Love the intensity! If you had to choose either a trap bar and a barbell for the posterior chain workout for the rest of your life, which one would you go with?
I think a barbell is better for the posterior, because the trap bar allows you to bend your legs more like a squat

The first time I ever "tried" trap bar I did 385 easy and I was only 13 (pre-2000) and maybe 140 lbs with maybe a year of self directed "training". I mean I consider it a lift so people can feel better about not being strong. It is kind of like the leg press machine concept and maybe even similar in how it takes the balance out of the lift for lack of a better word. It doesn't even compare in the athletic out of conventional straight bar dead lift. But if your back is hurt or you are afraid it is a good exercise where you can load up as much weight as you want and not hurt yourself.
