Spring is the perfect time to start dehydrating herbs

It was a busy morning for Forever Foods Farm. We did our first run of herbs in the Excalibur Dehydrator. After many mistakes, we have finally come up with the perfect arrangement to make the process as painless and as clean as possible. The key is to put a mesh mat on either side of the herbs on a tray so the air flows through but the leaves don’t blow away, and put a tray with a silicone mat underneath to capture any of the leaves that fall through when you’re processing.
